Maturity is the ability to stick with a job until it's finished; the ability to do a job without being supervised; the ability to carry money without spending it; and the ability to bear an injustice without wanting to get even.

Yes.... Rested Gal does it again !!

She is certainly an absolute Gold Mine of information.

She has helped considerably in my quest for information on CPAP therapy.

Thank you for all of the help you have provided to everyone on the board(s).

clarenceh9; with the proper cable (available from cpap.com), your CPAP can be powered directly from a 12 volt deep cycle battery. As you are using a passover humidifier you do not need 120 volts AC, so you don't need an inverter.

Re: LINKS to Battery operation, camping, power outage

Postby Sleepy Boy on Mon Dec 15, 2008 3:34 pm

We camp in Az. in the winter (not this one) we have a 5th. wheel. I use 4 golf cart batteries for power, with 3 big solar panels to charge them, we also have an inverter to convert the power to AC.I'm new to cpap and wondered what I would do out in the desert ? Well now I know!! I have a 12 volt plug close to the bed, if I get the hook-up for my machine I'll be set. Rested Gal--you are a "SWEETHEART"!! :D :D Thanks, Larry....
