clarenceh9; with the proper cable (available from cpap.com), your CPAP can be powered directly from a 12 volt deep cycle battery. As you are using a passover humidifier you do not need 120 volts AC, so you don't need an inverter.

We camp in Az. in the winter (not this one) we have a 5th. wheel. I use 4 golf cart batteries for power, with 3 big solar panels to charge them, we also have an inverter to convert the power to AC.I'm new to cpap and wondered what I would do out in the desert ? Well now I know!! I have a 12 volt plug close to the bed, if I get the hook-up for my machine I'll be set. Rested Gal--you are a "SWEETHEART"!! Thanks, Larry....
