Has it really been since the first week of March since Chantilly posted her thread. I could have sworn it was just a couple of weeks ago.
Time flies when you are having fun.
It's already been proven that my memory sucks....so sue me. :lol: :lol: {shrugs and walks off and picture my salute}

I will be going to bed early tonight if at all possible and the thread will be locked at that time. Rough night last night and the night before and the night before....so my butt is dragging right now.
So make use of whatever time that is left to get the last pokes in if anyone thinks that saying the same crap over and over again just has to be said.

Given this topic will be closed shortly, I would like to offer a little balance.

I don't believe this topic accurately characterizes palerider, it's exaggerated to the point of being dishonest, it doesn't supply context and completely neglects a lot of positive qualities he brings to the board.

I want to make it clear that this topic does not represent the general sentiment about palerider, which should be obvious given how few people support the OP and how many have vocalized disagreement.

When I needed help palerider [and Pugsy] were the first to help, giving me. In virtually every topic I've had questions, he's there offering quality answers.

He often demonstrates sensitivity:

Here's an excellent video about Fluorine, and they even explain the difference in fluorine and fluoride at the end:

Fluorine, deadly, Fluoride, good for your teeth.

In order to avoid confusion to people that may be reading this:

An "auto bilevel" machine is one that acts much like an auto cpap, but with separate settable pressures for inhale and exhale. It is a type of the generic category of bilevel machines.

An ASV (Adaptive Servo Ventilator) is a highly specialized type of bilevel machine, and is not an 'auto' machine. Auto machines respond slowly, over many minutes of time, whereas ASVs respond almost instantly, changing pressure breath by breath. And ASV will force air into you, making you breathe, and auto will not.
These responses are but a tip of the iceberg and they are more representative of the type of response one can get from palerider.

So as not to be accused of bias, I have no problem addressing some of the negativity.

Can he be blunt. Yes, but blunt does not necessarily mean rude. Often when one uses few words, they are correctly interpreted. He often uses few words.

Can he be harsh. Yes, and sometimes perhaps overly so. But often there is context that this topic simply neglects to provide, and often it has become escalated. And sometimes it is to reinforce and prevent bad information from propagating further.

The number of people he has helped, taught, encouraged, and made a huge difference in the quality of life is huge.

I'm glad he's here and I wouldn't change one damned thing about him.

Thank you palerider.

When someone passes gas here , and is told so over and over, but still passes gas, someone has to find a cork! Jim

Palerider and a few of the rest of us have buckets of corks, and we aren't afraid to use them.

This reply is an added bonus reply for you as you almost never make any sense!!! - - Your previous post is just one more to add to your list of clueless replies!

I will continue to use this forum just as I continue to use Apneaboard com and FreeCPAPAdvice.com.
I am sure you will because bad seeds never seem to go away. Here is the thing. If you are on the foe list for the experts the only help you will get is from non experts. So good luck to you. I believe the saying cutting off your nose to spite your face pretty well applies here.

Well, since all I've seen from 'him' is drivel, i've just been completely ignoring all the posts.

Anybody else notice that I became "the enemy" after I urged him to quit beating that dead horse about the "hey, someone posted something in the thread while you were composing your message" screens that the forum pops up now and then?

Guess it pushed him over the edge.... If I hadn't tried to keep him from making a fool of himself, *THIS* thread likely wouldn't have happened.

You are correct. I forget there are still nice people. KS and those like him make me lose all faith in future generations.

DogSlobber-

Lord knows I've had my squabble with you about what's appropriate to post on these threads when you took it upon yourself in another thread to correct me. - - But, all in all, I don't disagree with you that Palerider is a great guy who has helped many people including myself!

Yes we have, and both times, you responded to me with ad hominem attacks and name calling.

You responded to babydinosnoreless with ad hominem attacks and name calling.

You have responded to numerous other who disagreed with you with ad hominem attacks and name calling.

Those are the acts of a bully.

Do you deny the ad hominem attacks against other or that they are the acts of a bully.

A simple Yes or No will do.

Dob Slobber-

You tried to correct me by telling me "what is appropriate to post on this forum" where upon I told you, "You are the absolute last person that should be advising anyone about what's proper to post on this forum since you posted about measuring men's private parts and finding your sex toys under your tee shirts...and this was NOT IN AN OT THREAD where things can get more harsh (like this one) but rather it was in a "regular thread".

I told you at the time, "If you think elderly, feeble, sick ladies want to hear you about measuring mens privates and finding sex toys, you're much dumber than I ever thought!!! - - This was "not an adhominem attack"; this was illustrating to you and others why you are indeed the "last person" who ought to be giving advice about what is proper to post on this forum!!!! In case you don't remember your sordid posts, here's one to refresh your memory Mr. Etiquette!!!

You said a lot more. You're being dishonest.

Name calling and bullying. The whole posts are laced with ad hominem.

And as I said, I'm not the only one on the other end of your ad hominem, name calling and bullying.

Quit moving the goal posts. Like I said, a simple yes or no would do. You have bullied a lot of people.
