Most of the time I've spent with the CL2 has been while unconcious, so when I get a few minutes to actually look at it I'll post my opinions.

I will say that I used it the whole night, with only minor distractions... so far... so good.

I have tried the CL2 about 30mins now. I have to say they really did a good job on this one. I think this might be a winner for them. I will get a full night with it tonight. I really got this one(CL2) for my wife (lh) since she cannot wear the Aura (too large).

I agree with RG, in that the small hose from the Activa really helps with this mask and I wish they would have included a CD(instructions) like ResMed does. The only thing I can tell now about the mask now is: The pressure the mask puts to my forehead. I have the feeling I might wake up with a sore spot on my forehead I will not know until the next morning This might be since the mask is brand new and needs a break in period,like a new pair of shoes.

I still like The aura for comfort but this mask has a lot of potential and I hope it works out for lh th

TH, have your wife get some of those foam makeup pads for that pressure spot. They work great.

Linda thanks, I will let her know. She wore the CL2 last night. She said she had no leaks and liked it. She said her nose was dried out this morning and she knew she did not have her humidifier on. I noticed she only had about 1/8 inch of water in the tank also. I am glad she likes the mask. The only mask she has been using was the somnoplus. This gives her a mask she can rotate out with.

For anyone that's used it so far, have you noticed an improvement as far as rainout as compared to the Aura?

Two nights using the CL2 and I'm still withholding judgement, but to answer your question, I will say, as compared to the Aura... absolutely zero rainout. <smile>

I am also withholding my judgement however I found some differnces as compare to the Swift but I want to make sure the results are repeatable and have constancy. I will be trying out he pillows option shortly.

Ted,

For those of us who do not have the Activa, what would be the order numbers and costs for the swivel connectors and the short connector tube from the Activa that Rested Gal mentioned to improve the Comfort Lite 2?

The Resmed Vista Inlet Hose and Swivel Connector will work for the CL2 modification that RG and I have used.

Here is the link for the Inlet Tube with Swivel Assembly for Mirage Vista Mask.

Did you replace the 90 degree elbow on the CL2 or just fasten to it with your modification?

Wish we could get all three!

Those of you without rainout with your Aura - what is hour Humidity level set on? With my heated hose, I can push my humidity up to a 3 on my breeze and 4 on my activa.

Not answering for Ted, but all I did was attach the Activa's short hose directly to the swivel elbow on the ComfortLite. I didn't remove anything from the CL2.

I think Ted (who thought of it first) did the same - fastening the short hose directly to the elbow on the CL2. Only, I believe he uses two swivel connectors -- one on each end of the short connector hose.

I didn't have an extra swivel connector, so my short connector hose has just the one swivel that comes with the Activa's hose. I fastened the swivel end of the Activa hose to the main air hose. Works fine. Certainly a LOT better than connecting the main air hose directly to the CL2's big elbow.

The Vista and the Activa both use the same short hose...a handy little thing.
