Yes where is Carbonman when we need him.
The popcorn machine is busted ...... burned up from the last category thread.

We're going to need to take up a collection to get a replacement.
We need to get an industrial strength model this time.

Hey if that is what most people want, then that is how it should be, no arguement there.

Now if they just had a "delete thread" button, we could save this now useless discussion from getting in the way of more important topics (note that if there was a general discussion forum, that wouldn't happen! Sorry, just sayin... )
Well, you can edit your own subject line to something like: "Ok, I get it, please don't respond".... Sorry, just sayin...

Cheer up Ozij, no need to be so glum. You might want to try some 'different' conflakes in the morning, just sayin...

I can see advantages and disadvantages with both ways of doing it. You're never going to make everyone happy no matter what you do. I do disagree with the comments that it's somehow immature to want categories. Some people like more explicit organization and there's nothing wrong with that. It doesn't make them immature, just makes them more organized. I could use a dose of that in my life!

Maybe the categories poll needs to be a sticky.

Popcorn or no popcorn....another classic category thread developing.

Chose'n up sides....personalities being exposed......wild generalizations.....
implied insults...bruised feelings......threats of being overcome by reality.....
promises of leaving.........broken dreams in not going......
apologies submitted.....olive branches offered......middle ground solutions...

and we're only 2 pages in.

I stood a-wondering which way to go,
I lit a cigarette on a parking meter
And walked on down the road.
It was a normal day.

1) Main Section
2) Why We're NOT Having More Than One Category Around Here

Hmmm... somehow that doesn't seem to work either.

Thanks, CM! Yeah, there seem to be pretty regular patterns here 'bouts! Another endearing quality of this forum

2) Everything else

What about . . .

1) Personalities
2) Alternate Personalities
