My New Year's Resolution

Post by Slinky » Fri Jan 01, 2010 7:50 am

I'm w/Maxine!

I love the promise of a New Year. This year, for example, I promise to be even crabbier than usual!

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Try not to set your New Year goals too high, you might fail, get depressed, and forget to be crabby

And we wouldn't want that, would we?

So all the best for the New Year, and keep on Slinking...................................................

cheers

I figured her resolution would be to not be as crabby as me.

Maxine and I thank you too, Jer. I borrowed my resolution from her. She's my heroine.

Along w/Sophia from The Golden Girls and Dianna from Waiting For God.

Yeah, I LOVE Maxine! She's my heroine! Along w/Diana from "Waiting for God" and Sophia from "The Golden Girls"

And for today and tomorrow, Maxine and I say:

"I've given up men this year. Of course, it looks like they beat me to it".

"I love my attitude problem"

Slinky,

Oh, dear! When I saw your post I thought that this was the year that you were going to ease up on your doctors. Oh, well, maybe next year.

Love,

amos

Ahhhh, Amos!!! (((hugs)))

Naw, can't give those doctors a break! They've gotta earn it first and so far they haven't.

Go Slinky go!

Hmmm, My NY Resolution will be to not fall off my bike this year (managed it 4 times last year: busted ribs, torn ligaments, & much embarrasement !!!).

The really embarrasing one was I had cycled from work to a meeting 14 kms away (complete with change of clothes), I had cycled back to work and had only 20 feet to go - was cycling with one hand on the handle bars & drinking water from a water bottle with the other (was a very hot day) & in full view of the lunchtime crowd at the company cafeteria I hit a speed bump (bloody stupid things) and fell off - I heard about it for days afterwards. That only cost a new brake handles - no body damage that time.

So 2010 is the year of no spills
