puresleep

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and have been using an auto-cpap (RemStar)about three years but did not like it. I went to a dentist offering a oral devise and it was $3000!! I figure for $70 I'd try the Puresleep I saw on CNBC and have been using it for six months now. I haven't had a sleep study with it, but it has completely changed the way I sleep. I actually have dreams now and wake up feeling good. I will definitely say that it take a few weeks to get use to and your gums/teeth may be a bit sore for about 30 minutes after waking up if you grind your teeth as well. I travel a lot and now I throw a little cigarette pack size case in my bag instead of a separate carry-on that always had me stopped at security while they inspected it. I did a lot of research looking for alternatives to the huge machine for the rest of my life and have throat surgery was rather scary. No, I do not work for Puresleep or any associate, but posting this so others that search, like I did for months, can have more opinions.

I don't know if others posting to this item enjoy listening to the Pure Sleep commercials, but when I recognize one being broadcast, I mute the sound at a minimum and more likely will try to find a different station or turn off the TV. I have other choices as well, but after hearing these annoying ads as often as I do, they really turn me off to the product no matter how good it may be.

Does anyone know from where the PureSleep device is shipped? I want to know if I live close enough from where it is shipped to not have to pay for express shipping.

Why? Do you snore? Have you been properly screened or tested for sleep apnea? Are you aware that sleep apnea is a deadly condition that may be masked by PureSleep but is not treated by PureSleep?

Lighten up. I don't have sleep apnea. I decided to give PureSleep a try and asked a simple logistical question about shipping. I didn't ask about the merits of PS. So, do you have the answer to my shipping location, smart guy/girl?

I would suggest giving them a call. Corporate offices appear to be in CA but times for ordering and being shipped are given in Eastern time zone. You could wait days here getting a possible response or just call them and see where they ship from. I couldn't find it shown anywhere on their web site even when I went through a mock order and stopped short of purchase.

I live in Southern California and saw that they are in CA, but also noticed an Eastern Time Zone number for customer service (or something). I think I'll just choose the regular shipping and wait. If it comes from CA, great; if not, then it's no biggie. I'm been snoring this long, what's another couple of weeks?

pursleep didn't work for me at all. My mom told me about Nature's Rite sleep apnea pill. Its so much more easier than a machine or that mouthgaurd looking thing.

Yeah, the pill comment is like a joke, eh? "One pill to rule them all." But it says "Nature" on the bottle! It must be better than that horrible machine-thingy!

I hope this product is really successful so they can afford a spell-checker...and to have someone who understands English syntax edit their stuff. (CPAP machines are not "heavy machinery" in any sense of that phrase - they aren't even *heavy*; you want to "elicit" stronger breathing, not "illicit" stronger breathing - that has an entirely different sense, etc., etc.)
