Thank you, Pale Rider. I will most certainly do that. I will plan to make the change for tomorrow night. That will give me time to read through the clinical directions so I am sure how to do it. Appreciate the quick response!
Glad to see you diving into the clinical manuals. I think everybody should keep a copy of the manuals on hand for reference.

There are also a lot of YouTube videos that do a pretty good job of demonstrating and explaining clinical settings.

Here's one for the Dreamstation:

I was able to adapt to changing the pressure to 10 very well. My concern proved to be unfounded.
When I make pressure changes that could get into my head, I found that if I made the changes at bedtime then immediately went to bed, I would dwell on the new pressure. That alone was enough to psyche me out.

I started making configuration changes in the morning, forgot about the changes and didn't even think about the changes at bedtime.

That is interesting that my chart looks similar to yours. I am using Dreamstation right now, but have a used Res Med Air Sense 10 AutoSet for her that will be arrived here on Tuesday. I bought it used from MetsFan on this forum. I am hoping that it might help me more than Dreamstation has so far.
Glad you're getting the Resmed Airsense 10 AutoSet for Her. It's the machine I use and one of the most popular and most recommended device on the forum.

One suggestion, consider renaming this topic something more representative and of its new role.

It's easy to change or edit the topic...

That looks like a good idea to me. I also switched from a Dreamstation to the same model you are getting in Feb of this year. I sure do like it better. I use in the "for her" mode, but I am not a "her". Works great for me.

Raise you minimum pressure up as Palerider is suggesting and see how it goes. It looks like you need more minimum pressure to prevent most of the events.
[/quote]

Thank you, Thumper 68, Glad to know the ResMed helped you. I certainly plan to start out in the For Her mode and see how it goes. I so appreciate having members log in with encouragement. It can be a pretty isolating experience without help! Tonight I will raise the pressure to 12 on the Dreamstation, as the Res Med doesn't arrive until tomorrow. I am hoping to see some improvement.

Thank you, Pugsy for help in changing the Subject line of my thread. You are right, it was easy to do. Do I need to go into my past posts and change the subject on each one now? Or is this change just for going forward?

that's a good question. as i type this, the thread name has changed. and the post you just made that i'm replying to has changed. yet, at this time, the individual posts in your renamed thread hasn't changed.

i'm interested in how this goes. i've changed the name of my own thread before, but didn't pay attention to the particulars.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

You can if you wish but you can only change yours and not other people's....I would just leave it be...the new subject line will now be brought forward (but doesn't change past posts)....no one really cares all that much or to be honest pays that much attention once a thread has developed a life of its own.

Now each of the others who have posted can go in and edit the topic in their reply if they wish but again it's not that big of an issue.

Hi there Dogslobber, Many thanks to you for the good idea on changing the Subject line on my thread and for the link to videos on how to change settings. Also a good hint about changing the pressure in the morning and subscribe to the old "set it and forget" maxim! I will try that too. Really appreciate the help.

This morning I tried to load data from my SD card into Sleepyhead from last night's sleep. It didn't load. I know the data is in the card as I had been talking with the DME and they were referring to something in that data. Any idea how to get Sleepyhead to show it?

is it possible that you've left the sd card in it's locked state?

there's a wee notch on the side and indications of whether it's locked or unlocked. if it's locked, your computer can't read it.

No, it was in the correct position. I believe that up is unlocked and down is locked. Is that correct?

yup, up = unlocked. you may be having problems with the sleepyhead software, which isn't unheard of.

i will now step aside and let someone with a better grasp of sleepyhead make some suggestions.

I had the same problem this morning - data just didn't upload.

yeah, we gotta kinda understand that sleepyhead is beta software. it's not now, nor will it ever be fully formed software. so there are bugs in it. and we just have to deal with it. i don't how soon oscar will be released. or if it will be better.

so i'm just standing on the corner, whistling while i await my betters to drop by and explain it all.
