Hello all,

I have been on Sleepyhead and took a screenshot of two nights of data. Where do I find them now and how do I attach them to a new posting so you can see them? Sorry to be so needy at the moment...hoping to get better at all of this! Thanks for your help, and Zonker, thank you for your reminder to stay in this original thread!
Keep on asking for help - people here are very willing to help you.

Some are experts, some are just a few steps ahead of you. We try to pay back the support we have received by paying it forward.

If you ask a question and don't see an answer, ask again.

If the answer does not make sense, ask again.

Here's hoping you can get to grips with Sleepyhead and can get good therapy

Hi Palerider and Zonker,

Thanks for the info. I am, however, a Mac girl. Does that make a difference in the instructions?
Nope, SH still will tell you where it's data directory is.

I'm on linux, so no windows specific instructions from me :D

Thanks Palerider and Kate,

I am making progress. I have found the screenshots and am now going to try to attach them. Fingers crossed. Well, looks like I might be able to post one. I had two...will keep working to get the other one.

Question 2) I see the quotation marks. Is that what I use to cut snippets of your responses to be included in my reply? Do I have to highlight the portions to be included?

That's correct. If you click on the quotation marks you get the whole post. You can delete out bits you don't want to refer to. It will miss out the pictures

Thank you katestyles and Palerider,

Really appreciate the help on posting and quotation marks. I will continue to try to find the second screenshot and post it. If not, I will try to add more tomorrow.

Hmmm

That is an interesting chart, and I am sure Pugsy and Palerider will have some good advice for you.

I'm going to ask some of the basic questions they ask, so that you can get quicker answers.

How do you feel when you are on the CPAP? Do you feel like you are sleeping OK?

Has it felt different since you changed the pressure recently after your settings were changed?

You were concerned at changing the minimum pressure up to 10. Did your concern become a reality or has the minimum of 10 been OK?

Your chart looks a lot like mine, but I use the other main brand of machine, so I'm reluctant to give you any advice about pressure.

I am in awe of your catch-on skills though. Most of use take at least two gos before we get our charts right. Yours might just be spot on! Congrats!

I'd start by raising the minimum pressure to 12, and see what affect that has.

Hello katestyles,

In answer to your questions:

There are a few days that I do feel better on CPAP therapy, but most of the time I am still very tired when I awake and have trouble staying awake during the day. I try very hard not to take a nap in the afternoon, but there have been many days when I simply fall asleep sitting up on the couch.

And, no, I don't feel as though I am sleeping OK. I am aware of being awake a lot during the night. I have trouble falling asleep many nights and have a number of arousals. I seem to fall asleep for two or three hours but then awaken, make a trip to the bathroom and then try and go back to sleep.

I was able to adapt to changing the pressure to 10 very well. My concern proved to be unfounded.

That is interesting that my chart looks similar to yours. I am using Dreamstation right now, but have a used Res Med Air Sense 10 AutoSet for her that will be arrived here on Tuesday. I bought it used from MetsFan on this forum. I am hoping that it might help me more than Dreamstation has so far.

Thanks for your kind words about my posted charts. I do hope they are done right!

Thank you, Pale Rider. I will most certainly do that. I will plan to make the change for tomorrow night. That will give me time to read through the clinical directions so I am sure how to do it. Appreciate the quick response!

Hi there, Zonker. Thanks for your confidence. I appreciate it very much. I am delighted to have an idea from pale rider to try tomorrow night. It will be my first foray into the world of making my own pressure changes. Zowee! Empowering!

That looks like a good idea to me. I also switched from a Dreamstation to the same model you are getting in Feb of this year. I sure do like it better. I use in the "for her" mode, but I am not a "her". Works great for me.

Raise you minimum pressure up as Palerider is suggesting and see how it goes. It looks like you need more minimum pressure to prevent most of the events.
