Well, hooray! I followed Dog slobber's and Katestyles instructions.....(you are both awesome) and lo and behold I found my "missing data". I am posting a screenshot of last night's miserable sleep. This was the first night that I had my min pressure raised from 10 to 12) This is about day 5 of using my first full face mask (the F30). I am quite a mouth breather. Prior to this I had been using the Air Fit P10 for her and mouth taping and a brief smattering of other pillow type masks.

I woke up after two or three hours sleep feeling awful from aerophagia. Got up and took a Tums and tried to expel as much air as I could. Went back to bed and did a new Mask Fit. Then slept until about 7:45 a.m. although fitfully. I woke up pretty exhausted.

I would love to have comments on this data. Clearly I am not on a particularly good treatment path thus far.

Hurrah! You have two chunks of good sleep, 4:45-5:15 and 6:15-7:15. If we can figure out what made that work, and repeat it for the whole night, we will be winning!

Your sleep is still being disturbed by a lot of different events - I dont know the machine you are using well enough to say anything helpful - did your other machine arrive yet?

Thanks for the info on the two chunks of good sleep. I need much more study before I can interpret the data. I am posting data from last night. I don't know if it will be of any help or not. I was awake for huge portions of the night and struggling with a lot of mask leaks. The ResMed machine did arrive yesterday. Would you or someone be comfortable giving me some help with settings?

Absolutely!

Do you have it out and plugged in?

I have just been reading your early posts to make sure I am not missing any information.

I think we should set up the machine to be identical settings as your other machine to begin with.

Min 12, Max 20, EPR 3.

Do you know how to get into the clinical menu?

I have the machine out and will carry it upstairs and get it plugged in. Yes, I do know how to access the clinical settings. Are there other settings I should be adjusting as well? Or even using? such as ramp, etc. I will get the ones in you mentioned and you can be thinking about the others. I can make notes of those I have questions about. I'll let you know as soon as I have the min, max and EPR set up. Thank you so much!!!!

I suggest these settings will match what you have now:

Mode:Autoset/Autoset for Her
Max Pressure:20
Min pressure:12
Mask: are you using the full face? set it to that.
Response: your choice - I have standard.
Ramp time: I have it set to Auto
Start pressure: I'm at 9 - you can put almost anything here - this is just how it will stay until it detects you are asleep. When it detects sleep it will rise to the therapy pressure.
EPR: on
EPR type: Full time
EPR level: 3
Humidity level: Choose something comfortable between 1 and 8. Mine is at 5
Tube:Choose which you have
AB filter:I don't even know what this is. I set it to no
Essentials: Plus
Smart start: off

Dont worry about anything lower down except

Time: set to your time

I have set the ones you have mentioned. I have a question about the tube. I have the black Climate Line heated tube but the choices on the machine say "slimline or standard". I would guess it would be slimline and the machine will figure out it is the heated one?

I will go back and check to make sure they all agree with what you have listed. I will try the full face again tonight even though last night was a disaster, but it is probably better not to change too many variables at this point!

I will let you know if I have any other questions, but you have been very thorough and exceedingly helpful!! Thank you so very much.

I am not sure - I don't have the climate line - It may be that it recognizes it when it is plugged in.

Resmed says the climateline is "slimmer" than a regular tube, so try slimline

On my Vauto climateline doesn't show up until it is plugged in then it auto defaults to it.

Thanks Babydino - I thought that might be true

If you have a climateline, then there is no tube type setting, because it's automatic.

climatelines come in slimline and regular size.

Thanks, you two. I have it set to slimline and as Babydinosnoreless says, I will check it tonight when all is up and running to see what it defaults to. Wow. I feel as though I have a big debut tonight. Fingers crossed that this makes a difference for me, although I know it isn't an instant process. I will be patient. I am so committed to making this work. I feel lucky to have been diagnosed and lucky that we have these modern machines to enable us to once again attain a good level of health. Thank you to you and the others who have been helped me so far. I am very, very grateful.

You mean I didn't make any mistakes in my suggestions of set up????? I'm amazed!
