That's what I'm trying to say. I'm on your side too if we're choosing sides. And since you're learning, then great, what's the problem?

By the way, since we're 'choosing sides', what's the name of our Team?

From what I can tell, blarg, EricF 'gave in' to pressure, received a lot of flack, and removed his original post/poll.
Could be he's hesitant to 're-post' it?

What do you say, EricF, or have you had enough of this? Don't blame you, either way! But, a good try! - spelling errors and all! What the heck, I got the idea.

There is another poll to see whether Eric should repost his poll. Much as I would like to know how bad the poll was, it would ruin this thread. This thread is much better because most of us can attack or defend Eric without knowing what the H is going on. If we knew what the poll was, it would no longer so much fun.

We have found out one thing, Sexuality Pools are dangerous, some people tend to go off the Deep End. Jim

Especially dangerous when the "pool" has been drained.....

Den (one of those who DID see the original pool/poll questions)
(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.

Was WHAT necessary?

I wished Linda a good night's sleep, and hope that everyone has one.

...you'll have to be more specific for a more specific response, if you want one, bookwrm63.

I feel just fine, thanks! And I hope that you do also.

Ah the Sexuality Pool. It brings back fond memories of the Vaseline wars.

Wading in to the sexuality pool... a place I don't want to be

Common folks. Let this one just die. I saw the original post(pool) and vowed I would just ignore it, but... it appears that even when no one else is commenting, Eric is bumping it to the top. The original post may have been an attempt at humor, but it certainly struck me as being inappropriate for this forum.(personal opinion)

I stumbled across this great forum over a year ago and was instantly hooked because you could get quality info from genuinely nice people who just wanted to help. We are all in the same boat just trying to find better ways to treat our condition. Now I see we are "choosing up sides", arguing over something that is really not cpap related, and quite possibly lost a valuable member of this forum. (I hope Linda was just over reacting and reconsiders her decision. She had nearly 1300 posts and was always kind helpful.)

This topic deserves to just fade away. I encourage sexuality topics if they relate to CPAP, but think about what makes this forum so good and I think you will see that this issue is not on the "plus" list.

My 2 cents worth, if even that...

Wow

Post by kered » Wed Feb 07, 2007 12:13 pm

Wow - over 3500 reads! Just figured I should be a part. I'm said to have a good sense-of-humor and I thought the original post could have made for some humorous responses. (If humor can be had - I will find it though) I'm new, but I've seen many people here show that they do have a sense-of-humor. The way I took it it - it was clearly meant as a humorous post - it was not derogatory towards any group or sex. It was intended to illicit humorous responses. And with what we deal with - I'm totally in favor of trying to laugh.

If some people thought it was inappropriate, why not just ignore it and let people who don't - have some fun with it? It only takes a couple seconds to open a post and if you don't like it - close it. There have been many posts that were not totally cpap related. In my short time here, I was viewing this not only as a cpap group, but sort of a group of long-distance friends.

That being said - Linda, I hope you reconsider leaving because I've read many of your posts and you're one of the MANY here who truly seem to care about helping. You would be missed.

And Eric, I don't mind the slight misuse of language. I work with natural born US citizens that chop it up much more than you every day. I appreciate people making the effort to participate, which helps us all and makes forums like this the awesome asset that they are. Just think of what we've all learned here (I have anyway in a short time) and what it would have taken without this forum? Not really worth it to argue over silly things - is it?

Ed
