Yeah use the spell check. Ever notice it counts these words as misspelled:

apnea
hypopnea?

I didn't read the original post but what I assumed from the word "sexuality" was that the original poster asked what members sexuality was. I only thought this because I have been on forum before where a newbie would test out the community atmosphere to get a handle on whether there might be discrimination. It shouldn't matter what one's sexuality is but it does come up when discussing how cpap affects spouses, partners etc. and so if a person were gay they might not want to start a controversy or make someone uncomfortable. Sad that it might make anyone uncomfortable but you never know. I am probably way off on this one but as I mentioned before I have never had an unexpressed thought. happy football day.

the spell checker would not have caught "insulate". The problem was word choice...not spelling. Well...and some spelling but ..... Can't we all just get along?

I didn't get the opportunity to read the original POLL.

I do regret the reaction of narrow-mindedness here.

If you don't like it, bypass it (without comments), and keep on going.

1879 viewings and 49 responses to a post that now no longer exists suggests that this wasn’t a wholly inappropriate or off-topic contribution!
While Eric may have a lamentable grasp of written English, he must have done something a little exciting to provoke that much attention!

The only people calling names and approving of the poll, are the ones who never saw it.

All who read the poll, disapproved of it. It didn't offer anything in the way of helping others with sleep apnea problems. And might very possibly have given the wrong impression to new forum members. So please stop the name calling.

And again, I thank Eric for removing it. He's a good guy.

How can you say that, Linda3032?

How can someone 'call names' or 'approve' of something they never saw?
Linda3032 wrote: All who read the poll, disapproved of it.
ALL? Are you sure of that?

You were the FIRST ONE TO READ IT (enticing?), and the first to respond negatively. You could have either not read it, ignored it, or just bypassed it and gone on to something more interesting FOR YOU. But you complained to the originator (publicly), and let everyone else know of your standards.

To the other member who stated that "it was none of his business": I do believe that 'Polls" are just 'counters', and are anonymous. However, since it was removed due to 'policing', we'll never know.

Now, THAT'S a good idea.

Elle, I agree with your objectivity on this subject.

It had nothing to do with 'sexuality' though, but an attempt to put some humor (albiet bedroom) into the subject that we deal with nightly. Could have had some lighthearted fun with it, as I recall it's NOT NEW TERRITORY.

Well, EricF, how about a new "poll"? You can count me as "being on your side also" That makes 3!

Did I tell you that my husband doesn't know me when I change masks?

Nonetheless .... this sounds like a personal opinion to me.

Maybe we can have a poll on whether or not the poll had any business here? ... provided it does not get policed off the forum before anyone has a chance to read or vote on it
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Good points, DreamStalker.

Yes, I believe we adults do need a poll to decide whether or not a poll is worthy. .

The Poll was not "policed" off the forum. Eric, the poster of the Poll, took it off himself.

I'm sure that if you all want to vote on the Sexuality Poll, then he can post it again for you.

Again, several of us who read it (and we had no way of knowing what it said prior to reading it, obviously) felt that it wasn't pertinent to sleep apnea problems, and got a little too personal.

I think many of you may be over-reacting, just like some of us may have over-reacted.

But hey, if you think a sexuality poll is something you need in your life and this forum, then go for it.

And I'll leave you all to your fun. I won't comment again. But no hard feelings to anyone, especially not Eric.
