well, the Airsense10 CPAP *is* the model, along with elite, autoset, and autoset for her.
the "CPAP' is the new "escape".

AirSense 10 CPAP is the correct and full model name...maybe add the model number but most people don't have a clue where to find the model number. The "CPAP" part of the model name is important.
The other machines (which are full efficacy data) are the AirSense 10 Elite, AirSense 10 AutoSet ...and the AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

Maybe put quotes around the "CPAP"?
All the Airsense 10 models are technically "cpap" machines.
SHAME on Resmed for creating this dangerous confusion.
At least the Escape name was a bit more HONEST!

agreed... (on both counts)
but I'd put quotes around the whole thing, as in 'proper name' "Resmed Airsense 10 CPAP" model is in fact...
respironics did the same thing with the dreamstation crap model.

Hi, a Newbie here. Trying to find the beginning of this thread to figure out whether my ResMed Airsense Autoset 10 CPAP For Her is truly a brick. I'm on my second week of this journey like none other that I've had before.
My CPAP machine: ResMed AirSense AUTOSET 10 for Her.
My CPAP mask so far ... what a nightmare: Respironics Wisp.
Thanks!

there's a huge difference in the "airsense 10 CPAP" and the "airsense 10 Autoset for her" huge difference.

Your machine is NOT a "brick"!!!
It's a fully-data-capable machine.

I have the Airsense 10 Autoset for Her.
It is an awesome machine--maybe even smarter than me.

Maybe, for possibly more clarity... change the title to "Resmed Aursense 10 CPAP base model (not Airsense 10 Elite, Autoset, or Autoset for Her)...? Enough digits in the title field?

Lowsats, how long have you had the machine? If less than a month, bring it back and tell them you want the machine you asked for. If they won't cooperate, contact your Attorney General's office for your state and ask them who to contact since they (a) lied to you and (b) it is a medical device.

So far, the designation "for her" on Resmed machines indicates a full data model.
But, no doubt that could change.

Well, I think I blew it. I was so excited to get my machine today, and that they were giving me a Resmed Airsense 10, that I wasn't paying attention and it is not the Autoset version, rather, it is just base CPAP model. Is there anyone out there who has this model and is happy with it?

You just picked it up?
Take it back and demand the Autoset model. If your insurance is paying, they're going to pay by insurance codes and the code is the very same for the higher-end model as it is for the basic model. Only difference is that the DME is making more profit. So, the DME values their profit above your therapy. It's that simple.
