Wonderful result! Congratulations!

And congratulations on standing firm with that ass of a doctor.

Yes things are a big mess here in Alberta. Better wait until next summer for them to rebuild some of the infrastructure.

Yeah -- the weird thing is -- she's the one who diagnosed the cancer, and she was quite nice then. But she's hired an office nurse who appears to have a problem with plus-sized people and it seems to be rubbing off on her.

I look forward to taking the trip!

It wasn't easy to stand up to the doc -- I hate confrontations. But there wasn't an excuse for that kind of comment, and the fact that I was in pain as a result for several weeks afterwards is just plain unacceptable.

I've been following what's going on through a hiking forum... yeah, definitely a mess.

Great news! Yeah, better for things to be "right" with the trip than to force it. Glad you stood up for yourself with that rude doctor.

Kathy,

Well, it really was kind of confounding... and I really felt that she couldn't fix a problem if she didn't know it existed, but evidently, she didn't want to fix it or admit it existed.

I am glad to have reached the five year mark!

Thank you -- I'm glad. Although I'm not looking forward to hunting for another doc.
