Same here. My biggest concern during the sleep study was having to go to the bathroom (with all the wires on) all the time like I was used to. But after they woke me up halfway through the night and put the mask on, I was able to sleep through without getting up and haven't had to pee at night ever since I've been on CPAP. The night sweats went away immediately as well.Pugsy wrote:This was the first symptom that I had of OSA that was immediately relieved with xpap treatment.
I was getting up to pee probably ever hour or two with a full bladder each time. It was worse than being pregnant...
"Sleep disorders for dummies" mentions this as being due to the body never really sleeping and therefore not turning down kidney function at night as it's supposed to. But that may be oversimplifying.
