Lies can do harm.
We are doing the right thing by making liars pay.
Next up: celebrity anti--vaxxers
(I actually believe there are cases already on a docket somewhere.)
They can share a cell with those who bribed their dumb kids into a fancy college.

Mini rant from me, And this isn't negatively directed at ChunkyFrog at all, just me being mad at society as I've been listening to this mess on the news and I'm getting a little sick of it.

I always assumed that "Rich people" get to bribe their kids into college... I figured that's the way it has always worked since like forever. Not that "Rich Parents" don't sometimes have smart kids of which could earn their own way into college based on their own academic merit and achievement but... Money buys stuff, and assurances/insurance.

Money buys privilege, favor, respect/fear... I would think it be naive to think otherwise. That's why I didn't understand what all the hub-bub was over the kids getting bribed into college. Sure the parents weren't donating 100 million or more for a new football stadium, but...

Are we going to say that... if your "normal" (I don't use the term derogatorily just realistically, as a classification of financial means)... you have to go in the right way. If your just a little rich, we're now going to catch you and burn you at the stake of public outrage to make an example out of you to help the "Normal people" sleep better at night. But if your OMG, stinking filthy rich, you go on buying new buildings, or donating obscene sums of money for which ever university you like and your kids I'm sure will have no problems attending... and that's ok? Shrugs, what ever...

When your surname is on the side of the physics building... do we honestly think that that isn't going to at the least "COME UP" when your admittance letter is being considered?

The anti-vaxers are just hmmm..... You see measles outbreaks occurring right now over seas taking out thousands of people, killing little children like falling dominoes, for the most part, because of fear campaigns freaking parents out making them think if they do the responsible thing they're going to hurt their child. The really sad thing I assume these parents truly want what is best for their child and a lot of them don't know any better. They see information that's blatantly wrong, but they don't have the wherewithal to know and they get scared. They make a choice, then later when their 4 year old or 8 year old or, both at once, die with in a few days of contracting measles, they find out tragically that that wasn't the right choice. The whole trick with vaccines is you create an environment were the bug your trying to kill can't thrive. When pockets of people decide it's ok not to maintain that safe environment, you lose that safety net and now... we have an illness we were closing in on wiping off the face of the earth coming back with a vengeance and kicking our proverbial butts. It's just really depressing.

Miss-information and scam artists who peddle in lies hurt us all. If there's any justice in the world the people running around creating the scare campaigns will become infected by the very illnesses they're telling people not to get vaccinated for... Hope they don't die from it, just that they learn a lesson, they seam very motivated and good at spreading information. If they had some personal life altering experiences with the illnesses they're trying to keep people from vaccinating against maybe they would switch teams and we could use their tenacity to better inform the public to help fight these bugs to make them go away for good.

Back to the original Discussion about "SoClean" (Sputter, Cough, Cough, Haaahaaahaaahahahahaahah!!! Ya right)

I did a little happy dance when I read the title of this post. I hope they get taken to the "Cleaners" so I never have to watch another one of their obnoxious fear mongering propaganda adds again. "Good Riddance"

Sleep well,

Gryphon

I really hate those ads--as a matter of fact, most ads.
I am totally spoiled by the DVR.
Record what I like, then fast forward through the ads,
saving 15-20 minutes per hour of pure waste. (Waste in every sense)
So-Clean ads are so-obviously fear-mongering, I can so-see why they do it.
But it is so-unfair, because it targets those most vulnerable.

“A foole and his money be soone at debate: which after with sorow repents him too late.”

-Thomas Tusser - Five hundred points of good Husbandry - 1557.

Otherwise known in modern times as "A fool and his money are soon parted."

They're too criminally stupid, reference the couple whose unvaxed son got tetanus, ran up a near million dollar hospital bill, and the moronic parents still refuse vaccines.

From the legal complaint: the real trick appears to be convincing the public that they're inhaling "activated oxygen" rather than ozone.

WTF? That's like calling Ebola a "naturally occurring virus"...... :?
A whole lot of investigation is ongoing before I spend a single dime.

Not to be overly pedantic, but Ebola technically IS a naturally occurring virus instead of being a product of synthetic virology.

A better comparison would be convincing the public that abestos is a fantastic building material that should be used prolifically due to its amazing insulating properties.

The asbestos comparison may line up better, but it has less bite emotionally in how it tracks nationally, according to our polling data.

Then again, maybe I just ate too many lead paint chips in my childhood.

Well, yes, it IS natural...

As is arsenic, just because it's natural doesn't mean it's good for you :D

of course, "activated oxygen" sounds so much better than ozone... of course, there really ISN'T any such thing as 'activated oxygen', when you put another oxygen molecule in there, it's not 'oxygen' anymore, it's ozone... but, hey... marketing is sleazy.

I've decided to deal with it mentally as a kind of Kevin Bacon degrees of separation thing.

Hello all, been using my Resmed 10 for about 1 year now. Great machine, but not made as good as my Resmed 9. Anyhow I have sinus issues wear a full mask, & thought I would try the SoClean 2 machine. I got a couplion in the mail for $100. off. After much haggling I got it fot $199.99

I've used it for 9 nights now, & think I felt better not using it. 1st night I awoke to open nostrils, but that was it. That hasn't happened since. & although that smell, does smell clean, I think it is irritating my lungs.

I'm mixed on this, I have 30 days to return. But maybe I need to change the settings to make it much milder. I called SoClean several times only to get people that I have trouble understanding.

Help...

You feel your lungs being irritated because inhaling Ozone is not good for overall health.
My advice is to return it while you are able.
