What did you set the red line threshold at?
SH is reporting 15% of the night over the red line but the only large leak you had was at around 2AM and it was extremely brief...I don't see it being 15% of the entire night.
You can either adjust your red line number up a little or just ignore the statistic and focus on the Events graph leak flagging.

I recommend just unchecking 'flag leaks over threshold', because there is no set threshold with respironics machines, it varies constantly with the pressure.

The new OSCAR should have that turned off for non resmed machines. (maybe on for some others, but i don't know offhand which.)

What I'm nudging you towards is looking at the chart, and seeing what you see that looks good, bad, iffy... etc. Encouraging you to start to interpret your own data

How many hypopneas, obstructive apneas, is the obstructive/hypopneas under 2, (1.5 if you want a stricter criteria).
how's the leak line look, do you have much LL time flagged. (or over24lpm if using a Resmed).
Since you're on a Respironics auto, do you have many of the spiky pressure probes (more is better).

I'm not trying to get you to stop asking what we think, but rather, to get you more involved in learning what to look for, so that you're even more involved in optimizing your own therapy.

I try to look at 3 things..
The detailed data....how well I felt I slept... and how I feel in general

I can have the prettiest zero leak and zero AHI report but if I slept like crap and feel like crap then it's pretty much meaningless.

On paper you are looking good.
But there's more to this therapy than just good looking (or bad looking for that matter) than just the report all by itself.

OK I have delayed getting into the glossary and figuring it out for myself and tended to
depend more on opinions and yes you are correct I need to establish for myself an understanding of
the graphs and how the results have consequences for myself and what I choose to tweak in order to improve
therapy. So I got into the glossary and couldn't find "Insp time" and "Exp time" perhaps these results aren't so critical.
I will continue to study the glossary. Thank you for the Guidance Pugsy and Palerider. Im very glad I found this forum.

I stick to the bare basics....Events, AHI, Leak, Pressure, Flow rate and that's pretty much it.

A lot of that other stuff that shows up in the Statistics have such a wide range of norms and we can't really do anything about it anyway so I don't bother with it.

For the most part, the rest of the charts are .... more confusion than worth. The SH replacement that's being worked on probably won't have them on the regular page, or they'll be turned off by default... Hopefully the accursed "resp rate" and "AHI" charts will go away forever.

Please do ask questions, but I'd like you to say "Ok, here's what I think about this chart"... when you post one

And, btw, your most recent one looks perfectly acceptable, anything under 1.0 is great, as far as I'm concerned.

Like pugsy says, though, that's not all there is to good sleep, but it looks like you're getting the breathing part of it under control.

Confusing things, yes.

First, the green and red lines, red is your actual auto adjusting pressure, then when you use *flex (probably aflex), it drops the pressure a bit when you start to exhale, and that reduced pressure is shown by the green line.

There are two leak lines because your machine only reports *total* air flow, whereas ResMed report 'excess' airflow, or leak. The SH software *guesses* at what is probably the excess (leak) airflow amounts, based on average mask vent rates.

The top line is the reported total airflow from the machine. The bottom line is the guess at how much of that is excess (leak).

Make sense?
