You should see some of the people at cheapassgamer.com, thought not an apnea site, it is a forum, with lots of rude entitled types. Like any forum, you gotta take the good with the bad. And there are lots of good helpful folk here. For the others, there is that option to add them to your "foe" list. Either way, sorry to see you go.

But but the party ain't over yet ...
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

I was just skimming thru your past posts and all I'm seeing a lot of love for CPAPtalk. Maybe I'm sleep deprived and cross-eyed today, therefore I'm reading your posts wrong viewtopic/t87369/search.php?author_id=65991&sr=posts

Hmmmm. Put me in the supremely confused column. I guess what I'm asking is: Where did we go wrong? Name names, let's sort it out... we are not a bunch of shrinking violets (as you've probably already figured out), but I don't think most of us are unfriendly . All I can do is offer my sincere apology if we collectively got off on the wrong foot.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I hope you will stick around and at least read posts that might keep you informed. I was off for a year, and could have had some things worked out long ago if I had at least kept reading.

Please keep in mind that most of us here are significantly sleep deprived, even on xpap - I know I'm really struggling with just about every day time function there is - especially patience.

One of the things that I've grown to love about this place is that the people here are REAL - aliases or not. . .they respond in honest ways. I know where I stand with them. None mean any harm - I know I don't mean any harm but I've also handed out a few very real apologies to others. So, I'm not one to talk one way or another. I do know that having a sleep disorder really makes it a challenge to be the person I WANT to be MOST of the time.

So, if we offended you, I hope you'll forgive us. If there is something we can do to straighten hurt feelings out, allow us the opportunity to grow and learn from you. We can't know what hurts your feelings until we get to know you - when you tell us. . .so that we can respect who you are and go forward. That's healthy. Some of the best friendships I've had in my life were built squabbles and seeking to understand.

All I can say is if people were really unfriendly here the responses would have been all...

Good riddance and see ya...

not stay, let's work it out...

Seems simple to me.

Probably the political rants; or maybe the mutual dissing society.
I'm glad this was not so big when I came in.
This is a great group, but sometimes our bad side comes out--and brother, is it nasty!
Of course, it has occurred to me that somebody we already know may be using aliases to mix it up a bit more
and get some undeserved personal attention. Aw, poor baby! NOT!

While I have no idea what's angered the OP here I can say I felt the same way when I first joined. I knew right away there was lots of good stuff here but in one or two of my first posts a couple people really pissed me off. I had decided to move on but after thinking about it decided it was best to ignore those people as to not give up the help and information to be had. I'm glad I did because you've all been helpful - well....most of you.

FRANK SINATRA - THAT'S LIFE

That's life, that's what people say.
You're riding high in April,
Shot down in May.
But I know I'm gonna change their tune,
When I'm right back on top in June.

That's life, funny as it seems.
Some people get their kicks,
Steppin' on dreams
But I just can't let it get me down,
Cause this big old world keeps spinnin' around.

I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate,
A poet, a pawn and a king.
I've been up and down and over and out
But I know one thing:
Each time I find myself flat on my face,
I pick myself up and get back in the race.

That's life, I can't deny it,
I thought of quitting,
But my heart just won't buy it.
Cause if I didn't think it was worth a try,
I'd have to roll myself up in a big ball and die.

My experience is polar opposite to the OP. I've certainly seen the political postings, but those don't bother me. By far, this has been the most welcoming, helpful, non-judgemental board on which I've ever posted.

I really appreciate that even though a question may have been posed time and time again, the poster gets the answer rather than, "Go look it up." This is a seriously newbie-friendly board.

I wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as I have been, including being called a "Rock star" by my doctor if it weren't for the people who post here.

I have to echo ughwhatname - I'm still a newbie here, been around for a couple weeks, and I've found nothing but friends and incredible advice - OK - when I said I couldn't afford a sleep study and was going to self treat one person here did say I was gonna die! And he's right, but just not yet and not from self treating my sleep apnea. (For the record I've been very successful with AHIs averaging below 1!!).

But to the point, I too, like the OP, have been and still am on many forums and I've found they are absolutely give and take --- though usually in the reverse order. As a newbie knowing very little about Sleep Apnea I'm probably taking more than I've given, but as I learn where I'm going I'll never be bashful about finding ways to give back. Why just two days ago I posted a picture of my cat in the pet pics thread!

Seriously, anyone can and we all do sometimes have a bad day, but generally I've found people here try to play well with others and I, for one, appreciate it.
