Rather, it's gradual changes and acceptance of the unit.
John is right about change and acceptance. Some lucky people slap on the mask and 'Shazam' all their problems are gone. However, that's not the majority of CPAP users, or at least that's my understanding from what I've been reading on this site. There are always issues popping up that need to be addressed and I find it helps to develop a methodical problem solving orientation about your upcoming therapy. The fact that you found us and communicate honestly and clearly is a very good start down that road.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

During my titration the y had me on the resperonics asv. I was prescribed the s9. It seemed tl me with the resperonics, you had to try to alter your breathing to be in sync with the machine, at a pretty set pace. The s9 actually seems to adjust to how you breathe. I have nobossies with the s9. I was under 45 Ahi the first night. The resperonics during my titration I was in the 20's.

More time and tampering with the settings might have helped with the resperonics... bit the s9 works great for me.
