In Boston, yes, and by chance. If you are suggesting that "firearms" don't kill people, speak to the families at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Absolutely NOT!
One of the first rules in firearm safety is: NEVER POINT A FIREARM AT ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO KILL.

You know and everyone else with an IQ over 70 knows that hyperlexis was making a cheap and snarky political statement in a thread that was not political up to that point.

You have some silver tongue logic but we are not that naive.

But just to be clear, I have no problem with the introduction of politics in this thread but don't lie and say politics was not introduced by hyperlexis.
I was careful NOT to say that, since the reference to Congress was political. Only to say that hyperlexis hadn't confused guns with pressure cookers. Guns were part of this story and there is nothing snarky about wondering where the killers got theirs. I wonder myself.
Maybe we'll eventually find out.......

And in the end, who really gives a shit where they got their guns. Maybe they stole them, maybe they purchased them, maybe they received them as birthday presents...!

Come to think about it, I remember reading that post. The man was a true hero in every sense of the word. Why would anyone delete that post?????

Anyone who has seen their posts disappear...that means that someone is abusing the spam button.
Send a note to Carolyn and she will put those posts back and the offender will get a slap on the hands and if he/she continues then the spam privilege will be removed from the offender.

So...tell Carolyn...let her handle it. Abuse of the spam button is a big no-no...don't let it slide.

Howdy,

I let 49er know that I checked the list of reported spam posts, and our back up spam reporting and unfortunately I cannot find any posts that were removed from that thread. I will ask our developers tomorrow if they have any ideas. At this point I show no evidence that a member removed them. I am wondering if it was a weird glitch in our system.

If you had a post that you think was removed from this thread, please re-add if you would like to.

Thanks Carolyn.

My apologies for my outburst last night in assuming the worst that they had been intentionally deleted.

Unfortunately what you were NOT careful of saying was that the kid is still a "SUSPECT" or that the kid (or his dead brother who can no longer speak for himself) is "ALLEGED" to have shot an MIT security officer.

Big deal. This is not a court room and the obvious is obvious. "Obvious" you don't earn points for being politically correct on here.

I wasn't pointing out political correctness or lack thereof. I was pointing out factual correctness, and factual correctness is something PST is well known for on this forum and obvious to most members who have read his posts.

However what's really obvious is that you are easily moved by attacks on the left from those on the right ... and what stupid does is stupidly aligning oneself on the right or left and not realizing you are being manipulated by those who have bought the right and the left.

Manipulated... hardly! I stand tall (all 5' of me) on the left... in case you hadn't noticed.

Alleged is the correct term for the "kid's"status, however, according to the person who was carjacked, the brothers confessed to both the bombing and the killing of the officer.

Regardless of that, the post you've quoted mentions killers, but doesn't state that the "kid" or his "dead brother" are killers, so there is really nothing wrong with the statement. Somebody was a killer who shot an officer. Wondering where the killers got theirs is a valid question.

One thing I found strange is the photos of the kid climbing out ofthe boat under his own strength ...

Image

Then the reports and other photos showing the kid unconscious with throat injury and yet no details being released as to what kind of throat injury or how he got the throat injury ...

Image

BTW - The images of the kid climbing out of the boat originated from CBS and are no longer available from CBS site ... hmmm

My bad ... I should have also quoted PST's post where he did not claim to be so careful ...
PST wrote: According to Boston Police Chief Edward Deveau, the brothers had both handguns and a rifle. First they shot the MIT police officer, killing him. Then they engaged in a gunfight with police at 1:00 a.m. Friday morning. "We estimate there was over 200 shots fired in a five- to 10-minute period," Chief Deveau said. A second policeman was shot and seriously wounded. Later the surviving brother exchanged gunfire with police again when he was found in the boat. Details are at Police chief: Boston manhunt began with intense firefight in dark street. So someone who wonders where the killers got their guns isn't confused about what a pressure cooker is.
But feel free to convict these "killers" here on the forum since as ems correctly noted: this forum is not a court room .... unless of course members of the easily manipulated by mainstream media end up in the jury panel ... if we actually ever see a jury panel. There are rumors of not providing him with his constituional rights (yep ... I already know the ignorant who will say he has no rights but they too are wrong).
