Just a thought: if someone were to write a new independent reader for Zeo users,
The possibilities are quite numerous. Adjustments could be made for skin conductivity, ambient moisture,
and frequency of sampling/reporting, to name just a few. It would be amazing if it could be linked to sleepyhead.
Sadly, I am not a programmer; and I slept in the car again.

I think when I need to use the new zeo, I'll do the same. There's no reason not to, unless the site just isn't taking any more registrations or is down, but either way, I won't delete the current account until I know that it will take the a new registration. It would be nice if they would allow to update the serial number in the current file.

There is already the open source viewer that someone can take and hack away at it to put all sorts of things in it, if they were brave enough. It appears that the newest version on the open source page has been broken, possibly from someone trying to do that.

How many days are you getting off of one adhesive set? I wonder if we could just tape it to our heads if they quit getting sticky Thats if the sensors are still holding their integrity.

I'm going to try on the adhesive pads tonight.

I got two GOOD days. One so so day with little data. The sticky gets rather weak on the third application. I'm wondering if BIG BANDAID won't keep it on for longer.

HA!! I really need to wake up and read things twice until I do!!! Great minds think a like.

Hi, Great seeing an approach to extending the life of my ZEO Bedside since I can't find a reasonably priced source for the replacement headband sensors. Any idea where they got the conductive fabric?

FWIW: I have WiFi from my ZEO to my iMAC using the Toshiba FlashAir WiFi SD Card. I first tried the high capacity SD cards to make sure the ZEO could talk to an SDHC card (4GB card) then ordered the WiFi card from Amazon. It is still a two step process of downloading to my computer then uploading to the ZEO site.

I also went with the unencrypted firmware so if their site goes down I can still process the data locally. BTW I was able to open the encrypted file but I couldn't do anything directly with the data. Same is true for the unencrypted data, looks like gibberish with a text viewer. I use their application to create a text file I can use. I haven't looked at the impedance numbers in the resulting text file to see how fast my headband is aging.

Thank you.

Does anybody know where I can find replacement headbands? Amazon's now out of stock. I meant to stockpile some myself before that happened, but apparently I blinked...

I'm not completely understanding - the unencrypted looks like gibberish, but you can see the word sleep here and there. The encrypted file looks like it came from another planet with absolutely nothing discernible. You can download a readable CSV report from the zeo coach site looking under the 'upload data', 'update your journal' and 'manage your data' icons - you will see in very small letters 'export data' if you click on this, it will dowload a csv file that you may be able to do something with - but this won't help you if the site goes away.

Were you able to use the viewer?
