I use screen shots and photobucket.
We talked about how to get screen shots and how to host the screen shots on the web in this thread.

Hello all!

Haven't been around for a looooooong time... I've been very busy at work (and enjoying it!).

Unfortunately my desktop computer where I had EncoreBasic crashed and died without warning... Would it be possible to send me the link for me to download it again?

Other than that, still 100% compliant (690 days!!) with a 7 day / 30 day average AHI around 0.3

I can vouch for the "Pugsy files". EncBasic works fine on my Win 8 machine.

You may have to d/l the driver for your card reader from the manufacturers site. (I did.) I also had to do a clean reboot, and install using the hidden Win 8 Administrator account. YMMV, if course.

Thanks to all who posted / PM'd the link.

I didn't have any luck getting EB to install on my Windows 8 machine, even using the "Run as Administrator" trick. I was able, however, to do the trick of installing it on another (W/7) computer, and then transferring the whole program file to the W8 computer. That worked, and I now have EB & SH running on Windows 8.

FYI, I like Sleepyhead much better for the detail of data & graphs. I wanted EB so I could see pretty much what my doctor was seeing.

The problem is with the install wizard guy in EB...there is a conflict with him and Windows 8.
We had the same conflict with EncoreViewer 32 bit version and trying to get it installed on a 64 bit computer. The problem is the installer conflict. Bypass the installer by doing a copy of an already installed program and put it on the new computer the old fashion way to move files/folders and it will work.

Run as administrator won't fix the installer conflict. Bypassing the installer is the trick.

I'm new to the CPAP community and have a Phillips Respironics, System One, series 60, With windows 8 (x64). Can you tell me where do you find the Encore software at?

Basic won't install on Windows 8 but there is a work around and I explained it.

You can also use SleepyHead with the Patch file. See this thread. I believe it installs just fine on Win 8

Will EncoreBasic work with my machine? It is the Respironics BiPAP Auto SV C Series.

Hi all,

I just started using a machine with data recording, PR System One (560P) Auto CPAP; and I am interested in viewing my sleep data. If someone could pass on information for attaining Encore Basic I would be very appreciative.

Thank you in advance,
Bob
