Just order from someone besides Amazon and shut up your damn whining.
The whole point of people's objections is that you are a bully, not that you disagree with 49er. There was no need to be so rude. Right from the start you have been aggressive, profane, combative, etc. CPAP Talk is a self-monitoring forum. We disrespect our hosts when we disrespect each other. You could have chosen to express yourself in a polite way but chose to try to be rude and unpleasant to 49er and anyone who objects to your rude and bizarre attacks. If one disagrees, one need not be abusive.

let me get this right. the so called innocent ranter got beat up by the so called bullies. then the so called kind people did their best to beat up the so called bullies while trying not to look like bullies themselves. what next? leave each other alone and beat me up. i can take it.

The one that STARTS it is the BULLY. Defending yourself against a bully is just that -- defending yourself. The only way to defeat a BULLY is to stand up to them -- in numbers -- and give them a good taste of their own medicine.

We didn't start it -- CG did. And she's getting exactly what she deserves.

Back to the topic:

I'll give you one more reason why I think it is foolish to place orders by telephone:

Prior to dealing with Amazon and other online retailers, I had three instances where the retailer's phone rep wrote down my credit card number incorrectly as I read it to them directly off my card, and when the charge would not go through, they just did nothing - no call back to me, no mail notice and of course no product sent out. (It is not wise to have them read the number back to you over the phone to verify they got it right, because experts will tell you that if the merchant doubles as a brick and mortar store you don't know what stranger may be standing by listening. Some retailers will even tell you that, for that reason, their employees are not allowed to read a credit card number out loud in a public area like a store.)

I'd wait one, two, three weeks to receive my order, finally I would call them back and they would for the first time inform me that "my" credit card company refused the charge, then when I insisted they read the number back to me they would have it wrong. (You don't really think they hire Mensa members to run their phone orders, do you? ) This was with three different phone order companies, each of whom said their policy was no followup back to the customer if the charge was refused, since their assumption was always that it was a fraudulent or deadbeat order!

Now, if I can't have written proof in front of my eyes to check the accuracy of my order before I hit "submit", then I don't want to do business with that company.

Seems a lot of people today don't give a crap about the some of the basic rules of courtesy. If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. And how about "do unto others?" It's astounding to me how people are throwing those basic courtesies out the window.
Times are a changing and so is this country and not necessarily for the good! I'm afraid this country is like a sinking ship, it's only a matter of time before it goes under!

You have to remember that is a Christian value and we know how Christians are looked upon in America these days! A person of Christian values is now considered a third rate citizen. Even illegals have more rights in this country than a person of Christian faith!

You picked an appropriate name for a user ID.

And there she goes again. CG... why don't you read about why Madalot calls herself Madalot? You just stuck your foot in your mouth once again!

Don't sweat it, ems. Her post just made me laugh. She's probably one of "those" people that think the disabled should be gotten rid of or at the very least - NOT allowed out of their houses, so as not to offend the able bodied people of the world.

I love you all, but can't you guys stick to the topic and skip the personalities conflict/quarrel?

We use to be able to say "Take it outside!" but I guess that only works in bars!

Cool it, friends!

Sorry Nate, I am not leaving until Godwin's Law is fulfilled.

It came pretty close here,

CG... you have huge, major problems. Now you're going to involve Hitler in this thread? Wow!
