I like the last 3 a hell of a lot better than the 8 before that!
Romney doesn't want to be president. He just want's more tax loopholes for himself, but Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Rove are waiting in the wings.
Watch what you ask for.

You didn't read my note. I said,"The only thing I will say is that if you like the last three years, then you know who you will vote for." Obviously you enjoyed the last three years, so YOU know who YOU will vote for.

They look down on their check, if it's from the government (Markist profit sharing) they like the way things are going, if they have to get up and do real work to get their paycheck, they will not! Jim

Our real hope to overt the fall of the U.S., it to tap into a new unused source of fuel, Congress and the Federal government are now wasting all of that energy. It's the total Federal bull shi_, it could be pumped into the oval office and the offgassing extracted as methane, sold for heating and energy production. The Ozone wouldn't get better and the summers may become a little warmer, but in the end the energy needs would be solved, maybe there would be enough left over we could buy back a few devauled Greenbacks from China. And then there are folks like this:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/12/us/ev ... wanted=all

"Ki Gulbranson owns a logo apparel shop, deals in jewelry on the side and referees youth soccer games. He makes about $39,000 a year and wants you to know that he does not need any help from the federal government. "

"Yet this year, as in each of the past three years, Mr. Gulbranson, 57, is counting on a payment of several thousand dollars from the federal government, a subsidy for working families called the earned-income tax credit. He has signed up his three school-age children to eat free breakfast and lunch at federal expense. And Medicare paid for his mother, 88, to have hip surgery twice."

Yeah, government is evil except when it benefits you. But anyone else who needs help is a lazy freeloader.

I only hope that when Texas finally decides to succeed from the Union, I can get there before they close the borders.

A tax credit is not taking money from the government and it is not a subsidy. It is giving the government less of what was yours in the first place. There is no such thing as a loophole...just a tax code and any time a citizen or a corporation gives less of what was there's in the first place to the government they are taking nothing.

Hmm, anyone who has an anti government position shouldn't be taking anything from the government. But that aside, he still was taking advantage of other government programs that aren't tax credits And I can give you more examples if you want, including Republican Congressman Andy Harris, who criticized Obama Care but yet was pissed off when his government health care wasn't effective for 30 days.

And the guy featured in Romney's, You didn't build that business ad retort to Obama was getting government aid in various forms.

By the way, I am not one to normally comment on this issue but I really find your avitar upsetting. You talk about respect in your initial thread but your attitude is to gun down anyone you don't agree with even though it is figurative. That is the ultimate in disrespect. In fact, it goes beyond that.

As a point of clarification, the point of the avatar is that socialist want to tear down and destroy capitalist. I don't want to shoot anyone.

However I can see that the original avatar could be offensive to a lot of people and is certainly inappropriate. I thank you for making me aware of that. Sometime I just don't think.

I hope Bender doesn't offend anyone. I think he is a hoot.

Bender for president!!!

PS....I think I'll just avoid the off topic political stuff. I have my hands full trying to figure out this CPAP thing anyway, which why I am here in the first place.

Public office is a license to do damn near anything.
The problem is that the sheeple are fooled into believing that public officials actually run things when in fact it is the banking officials of the major world banking cabal that are behind the curtains.

But the system is failing under it's own criminal fraud and it's just a short time now (months to a couple of years at most) before it all collapses of it's own rot.

In the meantime the sheeple should awake from their American Dream and start learning to grow their own food, build local community, and prepare for a totally new way of life.

That isn't true in the case of the Earned Income Tax Credit. It is a so-called "non-wastable" tax credit that can be paid even when there is no income tax liability to offset it against, making it, in some cases, a form of negative income tax for those with low incomes.
