Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
I noticed that SleepyHead Statistics page does not list the pressure settings for my S9. Should it? Is SH supposed to read them from the card? My machine is not scoring my events. Of 9 sessions, it has only shown events on one. I am wondering if the pressure reporting problem is another machine defect. I have a call in to my DME about the lack of events.

Exactly what I was "wondering" about! Thank you!Pugsy wrote:It's going to look the same except machine name will be ResMed. Not any huge difference unless a specific graph is available on one machine and not another like ResMed Flow Limitation graph. ResMed only gives a graph for Flow limitation. Respironics will flag flow limitations in the Event Flag graph but won't give a special flow limitation graph.DoriC wrote:The User Guide shows a sample of report for the PR. Could we see a sample report of what the S9 will show?
Was there something special you were wondering about? I still have ResMed VPap data available and I could get you a screen shot of it.

I am not sure if the Statistics page would show the pressure in that second section if you have not changed your pressure. This is a new category and since I have changes all over the place I don't know if anything is place there if no changes have been made so perhaps Jedimark or someone else could clarify that item. I don't know what would be there if someone had not changed their pressure.DrPepper00 wrote:I noticed that SleepyHead Statistics page does not list the pressure settings for my S9. Should it? Regarding the not scoring of events. In the past there have been some reported issues with the ResMed S9 machines getting "stuck" in the data reporting feature..even on the LCD screen. We don't know why but some people would see the exact same data day after day and having multiple days with exact data is highly unlikely. A few people had their bubble burst when the 0.0 AHI they saw day after day wasn't the thing. What to do to see if your machine is "stuck"... Just unplug it from electrical source for a very short period and then plug it back in. This forces the internal firmware to "reboot" of sorts. Very much like when we reboot our computers to clear out hung up pages or cobwebs.
Then see how the next night gets reported.
While lots of people do obtain an AHI of 0.0 it is not a common occurrence and even if you did...something else should vary somewhere.
You can also confirm the data with ResScan but the very first thing I would do is the unplug thing and reboot the machines firmware. If that does not resolve the issue and you continue to get the exact same reports then a discussion with whomever supplied your machine is in order.

Ahh, yes. The hard reset. How could I have forgotten. I will try that. Every time I view SleepyHead 0,9.l and close it I get this window on my desktop from Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library: (X) Runtime Error - Program C:\ Program Files- SleepyHead.exe R6025 - Pure virtual function call. Can anyone tell me why I get this message all of the time? Should I be concerned about this? Can this be corrected? Thanks.

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Grrr lost another post. Anyway, downloaded to Win 7 starter on my netbook. Opens fine but won't display the graphs in Daily. Just the calendar and notes over the left side of the statistics page. Won't show any of Overview.
I thought it would run better than ResScan on this thing, but so far, not the case.
I'm not sure I like the Netbook enough to upgrade the operating system.
BTW Mark, My AHI was 0.2 for 8 hours this morning and I have felt like CRAP all day. Numbers ain't everything!!

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
I deleted the old version.
Initially, when I installed SH, I put in the apap SD card.
So today, I've been conversing with Pugsy about my data reading. I thought of the idea of grabbing the data from cpap for review.
So I created a new profile - Starlette - cpap. SH didn't capture the cpap SD data, it just readded apap info.
What do I do to get cpap data to show?

Did you go through the new profile and go through the whole thing and create a new import location?Starlette wrote:Initially, when I installed SH, I put in the apap SD card.

Not sure how it got the apap data again but there is no need to have 2 user profiles. SleepyHead will accept multiple machines under one profile. I have 4 different machines under one profile.
My APAP..the short term trial with the PR S1 BiPap Pro...my new PR S1 BiPap Auto and the VPAP S9 Auto. Also 3 modes of use with the VPAP (cpap, auto bilevel and straight bilevel). My statistics page with pressure changes is all over the place but all the data is there under one profile. All import locations were the "usual" drive for my SD card with the exception of the VPAP data which is in a folder since the VPAP has gone to it permanent home along with the SD card.
Edit: did you go back in the calendar to when you had the cpap machine from the apap screen data?
It will default to current date I think.

DrP, pressure is shown in the far right column of Changes to Prescription Settings on the Statistics page.

It might have been one of the things I fixed already for the next update, but I'll break out valgrind again and check for memory leaks just in case..Gabe wrote:Every time I view SleepyHead 0,9.l and close it I get this window on my desktop from Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library: (X) Runtime Error - Program C:\ Program Files- SleepyHead.exe R6025 - Pure virtual function call. It won't harm anything on your system... I'm not sure why VC++ runtime is complaining.. I use MingW/GNUC++ to build this, but I'm sure it passes on lots of calls to microsoft libs..
Are you running windows XP by any chance? I haven't done a lot of testing under XP..
Does your system have enough memory? Sometimes on systems with only 512MB the video card steals a bug chunk of system memory.
Whatever the case, would you mind submitting a bugreport to sourceforge so I can track this.. (otherwise I'll forget 15 seconds later.. my memory is like a goldfish)

I don't know how to submit a bugreport in Sourceforge. I need step by step instructions. Do I just repeat the problem as I did it here? I got a good memory, but it's short. Don't know all the computer jargon. Hate to say anything on the forum that is technical, because I have a hard time explaining it with computer technology. Thanks.

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.1 Official Beta Release
Gabe, got to https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=2 ... unc=browse and click on Add New. Then describe exactly what you were doing, what happened and, if it is not obvious, why you consider it a bug. Provide all error messages and as much technical information as you can relating to the bug. The more information, the better.Gabe wrote:I don't know how to submit a bugreport in Sourceforge.
You probably need to create a SourceForge account before you can add a new bug report.
While you are at it, if you have not done so already, go to https://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=513997 and join one or both of the SleepyHead mailing lists. Posting to the appropriate mailing list (-devel for geeks; -users for "normal" people ) is the best way to get Mark's attention.

I had to add support for French & German machines... The signal names in the EDF are different.. :-/

As Pugsy said, you can have multiple machines in one profile, and get an overview of all your data..
I still need to add markers in overview charts to show when the machines have changed.
The only time you have to be careful is when you have the urge to a nap to try it out the new machine the day you get it.. SleepyHead doesn't allow two machines in one profile being used on the same "day" (according to day split defined to the preferences, usually noon).
