Mark, I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. We apnics are prone to depression. Are you doing anything to boost your serotonin levels? If not, Hypericum (St John's Wort) and either L-triptophan or 5HTP are good places to start. They have fewer side effects than synthetic SSRIs, and you can go off them without having to worry about withdrawal. Best of all, they don't cause homicidal mania.

When your head isn't right, it's hard to sort out the complexities of relationships and the world in general. But I've noticed that often you don't have to. We are wonderfully homeostatic creatures, and if you just let go of the wheel, you might find that you naturally wind up back on the road. I think this works because it was our addled efforts to improve things, and our worries, that caused the trouble in the first place. Stop trying to fix it, and it may stop breaking.

A zombie's salvation lies in the basics -- those deep truths that don't need to be understood to be followed. Love is one of those. Relax and trust in that, and maybe you'll stumble upon some clarity. FWIW, which honestly may not be much when you consider the source.

SleepyHead can wait. The remaining bugs are mere annoyances. If someone finds one that stops him from being able to use the program, he can always roll back to an earlier version for a while. I checked my data every day for almost six months with 0.8.4, and that geriatric alpha worked just fine even though there was some serious local PEBCAK. Of course I'm looking forward to 1.0.0 and beyond, but what we have now is very functional. And in any case, your family is more important. So are you.

0.9.1 Official Beta Release ~~ Will not import data

I've loaded Beta 0.9.1 and fired it up. Removed the SD card from my CPAP machine. I'm running Windows 7 Pro on my desktop. Plugged in SD card and so that drive "K" had a folder "P-Series" ... I opened it and there was a file "last.txt" ... it had my machine serial number in it. There was also a folder with my machine serial number. It had two folders, "e" and "p0" and a file "properties.txt" -- the text file had the following:

So I started Sleepyhead. Clicked on File > Import Data. Specified drive "K". Nothing happened. Statics screen says "No CPAP Machine Data Imported."

Where did I go wrong?

Machine: Remstar Pro M System One / DS460 TS

SleepyHead without the Patch file is not compatible with the 60 series machine and your 460 is a 60 series machine.

I would suggest starting all over because there's an additional update that is automatic and if SleepHead isn't opened with the run as administrator command line that update fails.

Install it under the run as administrator command line or
find the SH icon and right click mouse and open it with the "run as administrator" command line and get the first automatic update...that gets you to 9.2-1...then do the Patch file replacement thing discussed in the above thread...and then open SH again with the "run as administrator" command line...and get another update.
Reboot your computer and you should be able to import the data.

If you just install SH with the "run as administrator" umbrella...saves a lot of work.
