Garbled as in black boxes instead of text? or physically corrupted weird symbols?

Any idea what video chip is in your laptop?
I'm running XP SP3 and the vertical axis gets screwy. It looks like parts of text (not ascii symbols) but perhaps it it too large for the space and overlaps onto itself.

Restarting SH fixes the issue.

BTW even when the text is garbled the reports print fine.

Yes as in black boxes.

I don't have my laptop with me, but when I get home tonight I'll look.

I had both happen. Only happened when I was flipping through several dates back and forth.
Restart of SH did fix it. Did not happen this morning.

I got black boxes where text should be....side and bottom of graph and I also had weird symbols (same place on graph) pop up at a time when I was flipping through dates trying to duplicate the black boxes.

If I can duplicate it again I will get you a screen shot.

Edit...Cannot duplicate it at the moment. Only happened the one time. I have not got your recent fixes. This is just the original 8.8 version. I was waiting for more bug fixes before I updated it. So I have not got the changes yet.
I seem to be experiencing the same thing that Pugsy is, but I seem to be able to repeat it. I will also try and get a screen shot tonight if Pugsy doesn't beat me to it.

Black boxes where the text should appear, problem only happens when moving from one screen to another, e.g. from setting profile preferences back to viewing, or from clicking on an empty date by mistake. Resolved by program restart.

For session times on the Overview, I noticed that each of my days has the correct start and stop time for my time zone, but the scale on the left appears to be off by 5 hours.

I have my machine SleepyHead settings to Pacific time
8:29pm for the daily info is lined up with 1:29am on the scale at left
4:25am for the daily info is lined up with 9:25am on the scale at left
If you are struggling with congestion, it helped me to add Alkalol to my daily sinus rinse. This reduced my congestion and allows me to breathe freely with my CPAP mask. CPAPtalk post about Alkalol use here: viewtopic.php?p=665255#p665255

Hmm. Mine also off by 5 hours. Hadn't noticed till you mentioned it and I went to look. Obviously don't spend much time in Overview.

Here's a pic of the garbled text on the time line. I can't get it to do the black boxes right now.

This is a minor issue that I'm sure doesn't affect the functionality of the program, but in the user profile that we are prompted to fill out the first time we start the software, the maximum "Untreated AHI" that can be entered is 99.99. Mine's 118, and I'm sure there are others with higher numbers.

I'm seeing much the same things. It's those damn aliens again.

darimont, how are you getting those listing of info on your display hardware?

Mine is an Intel HD Graphics family. Not sure where to get the other stuff. It's a fairly new i7 PC.

Installed 0.8.8-2. Worked fine yesterday. However, this morning when I started the program and imported the new data, on the charts all the text/numbers was replaced by black boxes. Exiting and restarting "fixed" the problem (for now). Video Adapter Type is a GeForce 310M, NVIDIA compatible, running in a Sony Vaio laptop (Win 7 Pro).

I have a display control panel that has a device tab that lists the display hardware. You may want to look in control panel under devices.

IntelliPap Auto with Smartflex

Was able to read the SD card after figuring out that the dropdown in the dialog box doesn't show me my USB-connected SD card reader. I had to go down to where you select directory. Once read, it pulled in information from the card.

I've got 960 days on this machine so the Overview is pretty tight with data. Printing it would be less than useful as the graphs are too tight to be readable. It will be better when you can print the daily stats/graphs.

I could not find Smartflex data if it's in there anywhere.

that's good to hear. Im not $$ up to it yet, but I plan on just buying the Smartlink Module without software and using Sleepyhead.

Gah.. It's a Qt bug in sharing OpenGL contexts..
It only affects certain hardware combinations. I did not expect to see it on NVidia graphics chip..

I'll have another look over the code to make sure I didn't do something silly with the new print code (which uses a hidden offscreen context to take graph snapshots)
