My understanding (as a simple user, not the programmer!) is that there is no way to print multiple days at once - you would have to do that manually. For the overview, select the date range you want to include, then click the print button at the bottom right of that page.
Any ideas on how you'd like to see that ability presented? I wouldn't mind adding the functionality to print reports from multiple days, but the User Interface to accomplishing it is leaving me rather perplexed..

Maybe a "Flag day for Later viewing" menu option.. which could pop up a panel on the right, showing all the current flagged days selected, and a Print All button down the bottom of the panel?

Please drop any of your Ideas into SleepyHead's IdeaTorrent. If you can't think of anything, drop in anyway and vote on ones you like! The torrents a little dry at the moment, and needs more ideas..

Let me think about that one - I need to get some sleep right now! I'll try and remember to get to it over the next couple of days, but maybe a default print of the last 7 days. Printing daily reports for the dates selected in the overview might work, but with a popup warning you that you would kill a tree or 16 if you have more than 7 days in your overview?

Merry Xmas (I know it's well underway for Jedimark!) to one and all!

Hmm.. Now that's not a bad idea..

CutePDF works well to save trees by the way..

even though I put my profile in as APAP mode, the details tab list my correct model as DB DV54D but mode as unknown. (doesnt worry me, if it doesnt affect data).

also I installed git and tried to get hold of the source code, but only got as far as the notes. should it be available to strangers? can I PM you for an email of it?

also I get a crash when I go to the online help page (using your browser) Windows XP (Ill try it on Linux when I get home from holidays). dr watson style crash of the sleepyhead program.

I got the links off the programs welcome page and opened them up into Firefox. (suggestion for mouseover popups for the hyperlink address, just for convenience).
usage notes and release notes are not web links though so I cant see them.

and could there be more details on what all these terms mean (I am going to dive into encore help if I can get it). eg Ti, Te,

another suggestion, drag and drop or preferences ordering of the graphs horizontal ordering .
maybe a glossary of terms.
DeVilbiss support is very new.. it needs quite a bit of testing to get right..

SleepyHead is 100% open and free.. Pull (with a GIT client) fresh from here: git://sleepyhead.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/sleepyhead/sleepyhead
You need the QtSDK, available free from qt.nokia.com to build it. (The windows version comes with the compiler too, mac's need Xcode)

I've probably missed a DLL for some image format or something, which will likely be causing that crash.

If someone could tell me what Ti, Te are, I certainly could add the popups.. Right now, I have no idea what they mean.. Target Inspiration/Expiration?

You can already drag and drop graph orders... Grab the vertical titles and drag.. It remembers graph orders and sizes when you close and reopen too.

A glossary is being worked on, thanks to Pugsy.. It's now on the SleepyHead Wiki..
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/s ... e=Glossary
I'll be adding a link to it in the Help menu..

There's lots of other notes at the wiki too..

Edit: There's also a wiki here..

http://www.ccmtutorials.com/rs/mv/page13.htm

"The longer the inspiratory time (Ti), the better the oxygenation benefit.
Conversely, once Ti becomes longer than expiratory time (Te), there is insufficient time for CO2 removal, and this tends to build up."

a question, the pressure graph has a black line and a red line.
mine has both as uninterrupted straight lines, which I dont think would be the case, unless they are min/max lines. (red as max)

Thanks for that info, I'll read over it and see if I can get it to sink in..

Which Pressure graph? Daily or Overview?

The Daily currently shows the min and max in Red & Blue, and a Green line showing the actual (auto adjusting) pressure. (which can dip below min during ramp)

The min & max lines probably should go to be consistant with the other machines..

I'm doing a lot of clean up work at the moment for the first official beta.. hopefully should be out in a day or two..

By the way, Te & Ti for Intellipap are not that.. (ResMed VPAP machines have this data)

I'm not sure what those graphs are yet.. I was using the short codes as a placeholder until it was figured out..

Sorry about the confusion.. I meant to get back to that one, but clean forgot..

that was the daily graph. mine has green and red only, showing my min and max on auto. an actual varing graph doesnt appear.

also, is there anywhere in sleepyhead that I can get the duration of an event?
surely the data is there somewhere. the alternative is to use the oximeter to infer.

On the Daily page, on the left, click on the Events tab and expand away.

The Intellipap importer still needs a little more work.. The graph issues should be fixed now in the source code, and will be in the upcoming beta.

Does your intellipap software report event durations? The reports I've seen don't have any signs these machines actually record it for individual events. :-/

EDIT: The machine appears to reports a count of events rather than duration where it should. The only way to know for sure/calculate them is to have access to the flow rate waveform, but unfortunately DeVilbiss has so far failed to recognize the importance of storing this critical piece of information. Hopefully they fix this mistake in future versions.

that's crap that if it doesnt reveal event duration ... I am looking for that CPAPtalk thread that had a link that showed all the machine and which data capability they had. I might PM emily on this one.
my only resort is to match O2 up, but I dont want to have to have that on my wrist every night.

ignore my previous request for arrow keys and page up/down for navigation of the graphs, I just discovered those keys navigate the date selection, which is quite useful.

and I did notice one blue graph bit for a small section ... I await the upgrades.

also the Intellipap has an oximeter input port... I dont yet have the cable for it, just flagging the possibility for sleepyhead to pick it up that way too, which would sync the times.

overall I am much appreciative of your efforts with sleepyhead. I hope people are donating and reqarding you that way. (I am thinking about it, $$ is an issue)

Just installed 0.8.8 on my iMac (still running Leopard) - everything works beautifully so far.

Mainly I'm tiptoeing into this thread to say "Thank you!" to JediMark for Sleepyhead - it's an amazing tool to have access to

I actually use Nitro pdf - I do pay a bit for it, but I am OK with that. Actually, I print very little from my computer any more - I have a b/w laser printer beside me that is on idle most of the time (or switched off!). I also have a color inkjet printer that I know some of the ink cartridges are so old they won't work - even though they have ink left in them ... I occasionally print to pdfs which I then store in Evernote, and only print if I need to impress my sleep doc!

Your machine does have a serial data port that provides access to the "live" flow waveform.. If this is easily accessible, it might start to get good for Intellipap users. It would then need to be connected to a PC each night for it record flow though. (A cheap, quiet, low power s/h notebook with the screen closed would be good for this)

I will hopefully know more soon, as I may be getting a chance to play with one up close.

I did end up adding the page-up/down anyway.. Most keys are focus specific, depending on where you click the mouse.. I still need to add a way showing the main graph area has focus.

I'm not sure about the built in attachments.. ResMed has one for their machines, but it's very expensive.. I'm assuming DeVilbiss module will be similar.

CMS50's are cheap.. So far I'm only having 100% success with my cheap CMS50D+, support for the 50E's and greater is still a little shakey, but definitely improving.
I discovered starting the CPAP & Oximeter at the same time gives a very good sync, as I can pick the oximeters start time from the cpap session.

I would like to see on one of the print out's(i.e. daily report) any journal notes also print out on the report.

I am new all this and I have to say a BIG thank you for the software.

and I will get round to making a donation at the sourceforge page

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/

dont forget they also sell wireless attachments for the CM50's, a must I think if they are used regularly. 'round $50 I was quoted from somewhere in China late last year.
