Hover over the HTML panel and it will show them.. I'm was planning on adding tooltips showing it to the graph area you mentioned too. There isn't a lot of room to display them otherwise, without hogging valuable screen space. :/
I'm not quite sure I understand that comment. HTML? If I hover over the graphs on overview, it shows numbers, but not units. For instance, "Tidal Volume Min=822." It doesn't tell me it's 822 liters, gallons, etc.

I found my GERD was a lot less if I bumped up my minimum pressure a few points above where the machine wanted to set it, and beyond the point where my AHI went to nothing. It might be worth trying.

Sorry, I meant the left panels in Daily view, (it's generated by HTML, I shouldn't call it that) if you hover over the words Tidal volume/etc.. it will pop up the units in a tooltip.. (where it's actually known.)

I think the units shown as a tool-tip hovering over the Y-Axis tickers will also help. I feel the Y-Axis margins are a little too wide already to pack it in statically. :/
Anyone got any better ideas?

If I bump my pressure things tend to get much worse..

The new version of SH doesn't seem to do this on my Eee PC. More weird problems with the video card perhaps?

Ahh, yes, I see it now. BTW, minute vent has no units listed.

Probably because I'm not sure what it is

Minute ventilation is Tidal Volume (in L) * Respiratory rate..(breaths per minute)
so I think it's liters per Minute..

Weird.. That area is rendered by WebKit, which is built into Qt.. it should work.. :-/

When I finish adding tooltips over the graph Y-axis areas, they definitely will work, as I've done those tooltips from scratch..

Are you still getting a lot of video glitches?

And how's the screen usage? anywhere to big to fit on screen? I haven't really been thinking of low res screens all that much lately. :-/

Yes, I'm still getting video glitches, but not enough to render the 8.8 version unusable. I'll beat on it hard this week and file a proper bug report when I can give you some decent insight into what's going on. I'll double check the y-axis tool-tips again. Could be that I'm simply too fumble fingered with my mouse pad. Or since there's a glitch in how my mouse pad works these days (triggered by some unknown Microsoft update no doubt), maybe that's the problem.

Remarkably decent actually. When I toggle to full screen SH nicely fills the screen totally and does NOT overfill the screen: I can see the whole SleepyHead window and the vertical scroll bars are exactly where they should be. The graphs are of useable size. And one thing that does work with the graphics is resizing the vertical dimension of the graphs. So I can squash the table of events and things like the leak line and pressure line and still see the flow data at a nice size and compare it to a couple of other graphs at a time without the need to scroll.

Just to be clear, the y-axis tooltips aren't added yet.. Only the daily view side panel where the min/max/avg/90% stuff is has the units popup so far..

Glidepoints aren't always fun.. My trusty dell's one is dying and stops moving properly at inconvenient times.. A good bluetooth mouse is a handy tool..

That's good to hear.. Do the preferences and edit profile windows fit?

There is a Graph Height option in Preferences (Appearance tab).. If you change it, you can then do a "Reset Graph Layout" in the view menu to change them all for that profile.. (You can still resize afterwards) There is no need to do this if you've already got them set up how you like, as it will now remember them for you..

The titles can be a pain with the vertical fonts, but you will be able to edit them eventually..

By the way, love "Event count, selection time, etc." Very useful.

Lots of other great stuff I haven't noticed before.

View size slider on events tab is a nice touch.

Click on session ID in details window is nice.

Clicking on hyponeas, etc. in details going to the events windows.

Window duration in the bottom right is nice. How about adding window start time right next to it? i.e. 23:00:00 1:00:00 in the same box for a 1 hour view starting at 11 PM.

Is there some quick way to zoom the time window to the fullest width? The best I've found so far is to highlight the whole events window.

I just posted an updated binary to patch a couple of serious faults with that last build..

If you already downloaded the broken one, here is a direct link to just the binary.. Unzip into the 0.8.8's directory..
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyh ... p/download

The full binary with DLL's can be obtained here.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/

It fixes an import crash with PRS1 data,
fixes a lot of overview chart glitches,
adds tool-tips showing units when hovering over graph Y-Axis,
and fixes some errors with BMI calculations.

Best to do a fresh start by removing SleepApp folder, as some of the bugs that were fixed may have caused lingering problems.

Have fun

/Mark

Preferences and the edit profile window were completely functional in terms of size and saving things.
There is a Graph Height option in Preferences (Appearance tab).. If you change it, you can then do a "Reset Graph Layout" in the view menu to change them all for that profile.. This too works and I discovered it and it's a super nice feature.

Mark,

An incredible amount of progress has been made since the release of Version 8.5.

What parameters do you use to calculate AHI/hr? is it strictly a timed interval or a rolling average?

Most of my days indicate a peak AHI/hr between 40 and 50. I'm just trying to figure out if I need to be concerned or not.

Indeed it has.. I'm only just now starting to have some real fun.

The AHI/hr graph slides an hour long window over your events data from start to finish (aligned on the right edge, starting exactly 1 hour before the data starts), stepping it forward every 30 seconds..
It counts all the AHI related events that happened inside each frame, and outputs the value for each time step, until it reaches the end of the data.

It can sometimes climb very high - I've had it reach over 70.. meaning for the hour previous to that moment in time, I was being severely hammered.

The peaks of this chart helps determine how bad clusters of events really are, and is particularly useful with periodic breathing patterns..

My father just began using CPAP, and I'd like to check his progress, and soon discovered your program.

So, to get the information, I just take out the SD card and download the data on my Windows XP computer, and then put it back in the machine, and all that info will still be retained? Just want to be sure I don't mess up anything since they'll be looking at his data when he goes back to the sleep doctor in about a month.

Thanks.
