I like that idea.

I think I had a screw up in previous 90% stuff so you may see some difference.

The sheep was only meant to be temporary, but I do like its concept a mascot.. I noticed its also used in some crummy android sleep app but in blue. The image is from openclipart. I would love to see a funky CPAP mask on it am not really arty enough to achieve such coolness.

Fiberfan: could I perhaps get a screenshot of your resmed pressure chart vs what your seeing in sleepyhead.

In the previous version, you needed to import the P series directory itself.

The new way probably makes makes more sense.
Technically you always were supposed to import the one before. I added the p-series one for convenience.. The funny thing is I don't remember changing this :-/

Counting sheep is what people with insomnia do, so I'm not sold the sheep logo. Also, sheep are easily herded, and most people using SleepyHead will be the sort who go their own way. You could do worse than a sheep using CPAP, though. I suppose it could be argued that if it were sleeping soundly, the hosehead sheep would represent a cure for sleep disorders.

The only alternative I've thought of so far comes straight from the name. A sleepy head. Something like the old Napster logo, but instead of pointy ears and headphones, give it closed eyes and a mask with the hose wrapping artfully to one side. I'm not sure I like this either, but if executed well enough, it might do.

Sounds like you really needed the break.

File this one under Feature Request.

As you know, many of us back up our cards and have multiple backup directories. The longer we do this, the more such directories we will have. At some point it will be very tedious to import or reimport each such directory individually. Perhaps, at some point in the future, you might add a Batch Import function, with which we can go one more level up and have SH drill down to the data backups, finding and importing them one at a time.

See the following screenshot for an example. Rather than having the user open each "Saved..." directory individually, the user could invoke Batch Import, open the higher directory (here, "ResMed S9 Data"), and SH could drill into and import from each of the "Saved..." subdirectories one at a time.

Including subdirectories would be nice.

For now, I'm keeping two copies of my data. I copy the SD root for each day to its own directory, then I copy the Datalog folder, which is all SH currently reads, to a directory for the month. This gives one folder for each month, which isn't too much to deal with when reimporting.

Screen shots are below. I looked at several days data and the ipap and epap on the pressure chart look the same in both ResScan and SleepyHead.

The funny thing is Jimbo, the previous versions could actually do that.. I had to remove that code because of changing to the native dialogs. It was one of those features I forgot to mention existed. I even forgot to use it myself when it was there. B-)

I want to add the memory bit back so I'll have another look and see if I can make it work..

Perhaps if you could select your backup directory and it scanned another later deep might be even easier?

If you mean select ResMed S9 Data, then, yes, that is what I would like to see.

What else does it need? And what does SH do with it?

I imported June, July, and August into 0.8.3 last night with just the Datalog folders. No errors, and everything looks right. April and May caused crashes, but the lack of root files does not seem to be the problem.

Whether I do one night or a whole month at a time, SH crashes if I load directories containing the the sixty bajillion empty SAD files the s9 cranked out before I started rebooting every few days. Mark, if you want to play with the SH killer data, PM me your email.

I don't know, but that is what Mark told me previously.

Please, would someone help me getting SleepyHead to work? I believe I have the latest version downloaded -"SleepyHead" "v0.8.2 but I can not figure out how to import data. No matter how I try to do that, from the SD card or a file(Adobe), it will not find the machine data. The program doesn't crash, just won't locate the data.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated, my knowledge of computers is basic. Looking forward to using SH, everything I've read sounds better than EncoreViewer.

Thanks, Linda aka came;ady

version 8.1 works fine for me.

I just tried the new versions and I can't even get them to open. I extracted files. Moved the binary to the folder and it still won't open. It tries but won't. Something I am missing?
