What about it, DoriC?
Time Outs are fine for some(no names) ) but others might need some time in Juvenile Detention! I have some connections there too!

Jayjon, Please don't get off on the wrong track here, this is the ONLY forum where you'll get the help you need. You can't improve on perfection! When I began here as the spouse and caregiver of my husband's treatment, I wouldn't have known what category to choose because I didn't even know what answers I was looking for. I needed to learn EVERYTHING! What I didn't realize was that I would also make so many good friends here who would not only patiently give me the technical advice I needed but who understood and calmed my anxieties and frustration. I never would have thought that on a forum on such a serious subject as this I would find so much enjoyment and comraderie. I remember being told by one of the "experts" that reading one of my newbie questions refreshed her memory about solving a problem she was having lately herself. If that post had been categorized, she might not have ever seen it.

I just did.... According to DoriC you're still in time out, btw.
My timer just exploded!!

I was only pulling NotMuffy's leg, DoriC...

To set the record straight, DoriC did NOT say that.

I think that puts ME in timeout!

Another idea for categories:

1) Not Yet In Time Out
2) Busted

At the moment I seem to have an affinity for category #2.

That's it dammit! First thing in the morning I'm shopping for a muffin-sized wheel chair... or a combination muffin-pan/hovercraft... or confectionery prosthetic legs.

Yes! That's it! Artificial sugar legs!

Maybe a special category for nonambulatory baked goods?

I have taken it upon myself to practice whistling... I would encourage others who are time-out camp bound to do the same:
CPAPtalk's Brand New Time-Out Theme Song

Ahem... NotMuffy, YOU should practice whistling that too.

See? This board has self-moderation! Off I go to summer camp!

P.S. How about one category for posters who learned to whistle River Kwai and another category for posters who never HAD to learn to whistle that?

While whistling .. a story about a cat:

(not having participated in months ) I really think we should have categories.. they ARE better than just searching and reading the FAQ.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...

But what do you think of having several categories instead of just one???

MANY MANY CATEGORIES !! Each one broken down by discussion topic - like a discussion thread sorter thingy with a bias on most active - hey has that ever been done before (see cutting edge outlook 2010 - ahem .. (wonder why M$ would go that route?)- damn loosing track of my parentheses) .. that would be sooooooo sooooo kewl!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME infact!!! )))))) (just to make sure they are all closed)

/if (incase)

Ooops! I now see I worded my previous post ALL wrong... I meant to say:
What do you think of having just one category instead of several?
