I Googled for hours before I posted because I cannot find any answers to my anxiety. I cannot find where else to go
if you want alternatives to cpap, you'll find more options over on apneaboard.com.

we're focused on making the best of cpap here.
Hi Snoopchic- Welcome to the forum! I am glad you posted to let us know what you are struggling with and what you need help with at the moment. Although there are additional places on the internet as PR mentioned, this forum is an excellent one for finding answers, assistance, and support for much of what lies ahead of you, should you choose to stay with us

It is very common to have feelings of high anxiety (for all kinds of reasons) when first being diagnosed with sleep apnea, and then having to learn to sleep with/ accommodate to sleeping with a mask and machine- you are not alone! Like you, I wanted to know what (if any) options were out there. But first, I needed to learn about sleep apnea and its causes. I would suggest you go to the 'CPAP Wiki Popular Topics' (upper right side of this forum screen), and read through topics there to learn what you can. From there, you can use the search bar (upper left) to look for 'treatment options' to cpap.

PR & Den: Snoopchic is asking for help with 'answers to her anxiety,' and she is 'looking for options' to cpap. She is not saying she is refusing treatment; I am interpreting she is in fact, saying she wants to be compliant by getting some type of treatment... she just hasn't decided yet because she doesn't even know what all of her options (might) be. Can she count on your respectful and supportive responses as she studies and processes the steps she needs to take to arrive at the decision that is best for her?

Thanks Guys

Snoopchic - You have every right to be here, to ask questions, express your concerns and be treated respectfully. I think many people would like to help you, but some don't want to post due to fear of others' responses. If you register as a member however, then you can write to us using private messages and we can do the same for you. If you need help to do that, please say so and we can guide you through it - it's quick, easy and free .

Unfortunately the attitudes of some people here are not empathetic with your type of problems but the rest of us would like to help if possible, so please don't be put off by the nasties. We may not always get everything right, but we'll try to be nice about whatever we do.

I think a lot of progress was made on her real thread, actually:

ANOTHER correction, PR - "... a lot of progress was made on her OTHER thread..."

If you are telling us this whole thread is fake, then who made all these other posts?
If this thread is fake, then you are posting as quite a lot of people and arguing with yourself all the time, aren't ya?
If this thread is fake, maybe you should delete it.

Oh! And yes- RobySue and others are helping Snoopchic with great advice in the other thread, which is quite wonderful

Actually, this is a 6 year old thread started by someone else concerning a different subject...

It is not Snoopchic's real thread. She should keep her conversation going on a single thread (like the other one she started) for the sake of continuity.

Hi M'ohms,

Thanks for your input, and I hope your husband's recovery is going well.

While giving respect to your point of view, I disagree that any of us should or needs to keep our conversations within a single thread at any given time, for the convenience of others. Like you, I appreciate continuity and tend to post replies toward subject areas; however, not everyone will agree with doing things in the same way, nor should we expect them to, imo. And we can have differences of opinion and that's okay, too

I will keep you and your family in my prayers

Why do you keep responding to people on your Foe list, PR? That's quite self-defeating, isn't it?

I just KNEW you would miss me, you LOVER BOY, YOU!!
