I went to download the software, then saw that it was PC only.
Is there a version of Rescan for Mac?

NEVER MIND: just saw that it doesn't exist for Mac. Boo.

Remember, if the machine says "Escape" on it, the Rescan will be of little use.

Here's a link to UncleBob's profile....just look in his signature line for software information.

Make sure you are getting a model of machine that gathers the data you and your doctor wants.

Respironics makes a machine just like the S9 Escape which doesn't give you the data you want.

Hi there, first time on this forum.
The reason I am here is because my SD card came up as invaid and I've never been given the software for the machine.
I bought the machine from a place called IRS in Victoria, BC. I've been using this machine for over a year now with no problems, until tonight.
I moved from Canada to USA last year and have not lined up a CPAP specialist yet and am really upset that I did not backup my SD card.
When I bought the resmed S9 with humidifier the company IRS said they run the software and I go to the to get it modified.
From the forums it looks as if I should have gotten the software (maybe they do things differently in Canada).
I'm hoping there's someone here who can let me know how to get a copy of the software. I paid over $2k for this Resmed thing and I'm currently visiting in-laws in Winnipeg. I do not know if the machine will work properly without the programming.
Any help and advice is appreciated. I will try using it tonight as is (fingers crossed).
Software link and advice on if I should change anything or is the Autoset enough? I believe my limits are 8 to 17 but am not sure.

Welcome to the forum.
You can use SleepyHead software if you wish. I have links for it in my signature line.

ResMed's software you can find in UncleBob's signature line in this link
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=38643

Tutorial on how to use ResScan here
http://montfordhouse.com/cpap/resscan_tutorial/

If your machine is saying "invalid card" then for some reason the SD card has something on it that the machine doesn't like.
S9 machines are super nit picky. You may need a new SD card (doesn't have to be name brand because generic will work) or reformat the current SD card and start fresh.
If you still can't get things to work you probably should start a new thread with your problem so more people will see it.
This is an old thread.

Thanks for the links!
I got some good advice reading this thread on just letting the autoset work and thankfully it did.
But knowing I can use software for this makes things a lot better or should I think. I'm just a bit miffed that they limit you without the software in Canada.
Thanks again for the info.

After I have been on the unit for a while, presumably once my central sleep apnea kinks in, the unit blows me up like a balloon. It literally blows my mask away from my face. WFT? I know that it is supposed to blow stronger to get me to breathe, but this is ridiculous, like 30 psi, and it ALWAYs wakes me up. I haven't been able to wear it through the night yet.
