7 days or 7 sessions on Encore Pro?

Post by old64mb » Sun Feb 15, 2009 8:28 pm

Hi all -

I just did my weekly download off of Encore Pro and only ended up with 3 consecutive days of daily details - but the standard 13 pages of the report with 7 daily detail sessions.

I'm guessing the difference the last few days is that I've been really lousy about sleep discipline as I had a few days off, so took several naps that were several hours away from the other sessions...producing separate sessions of those naps.

Am I right on 7 sessions, rather than 7 days, being the limit for daily detail - or do I have the dreaded data drop bug?

7 sessions with a max of 3 sessions a day too - so if you nap often, be careful

supposedly if you start up again with less than an hour off, it won't be a new session, but ppl have lost data that way too ----

to make sure naps don't count, take out the card

heh, my followup question already answered. good stuff - i'm trying to decide if I'm mouth breathing based on leak rates, so the dailies are important. thanks.

look at the actual leak graphs -

how flat? how many mountains and valleys?

I have a great leak rate when flat for about 70-80% of the night - the DME put my first week's original rate of 17 as the new record for the Swift LT. (Then again that was Respironics LCD screen math, so who knows.)

I'm now usually low to mid 20s with an average pressure of 8.7 - but I'm getting periodic hills. Since they're mostly near events of some sort or another it's why I'm growing concerned. I'm not waking up with dry mouth, and I'm feeling better (not that I was feeling awful to begin with), but I have on occasion noticed drool and been semi-conscious with my lips trying to snore et al. No valleys though.

That's why I was bummed about this week only capturing 3 days, since it may be the first in the almost 2 months that I've been on RT that it looks I've consistently been <5 AHI for the entire week. (I've had a number of days before where I was, but I'd say about half the of the time I've been in the mid-high single digits). Thus, I was planning on sharing the week and seeing what people thought since I finally have good data. I suppose I should probably think about switching nasal pillows too.

Oh well, next week.
