I hope this comes thru as blue and white. It looked like it might be black and white, not sure why. I'm not having much luck getting this to look like I really want. Wish I had better software.

Now I am going to go play outside with my boy.

I really like the third one!!! That's just what I was thinking of. Very clean and simple and obvious.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I did one version "strapless" and the other version "fully strapped"

and with a little luck I might actually manage to get it so you can see them (I'm fighting with the image tags and tripod.com) I tried to put the images in directly but it kept giving me a default tripod.com graphic. So.... I'm stuck with just giving the link to my album.

I really love the strapless version!!! I love how the zzz's come out the hose!

Thanks!

Great image and suggestion!

I'm thinking for the "dressy" version it could easily be made from large-diameter silver bullion wire (http://www.jewelrysupply.com/index.php? ... s_id=13153 or http://www.carnmeal.com/details/1706/jumbo-bullion-wire, to give you an idea -- when stretched ever so slightly it looks a lot like a hose); I'm sure there's some sort of small findings that could be attached to the ends to resemble the hose connectors.

I don't have my craft supplies with me or I'd take a shot at it...

I like the CPAP graphics, too, especially Tasmania's strapless one! Very nice.
Hey great idea! I was thinking along the same lines. I've never done wire wrapping though. We need a wire wrap artist. PADACHEEKS!!!! Karen, if you can make spiders, you can make hoses.

I'm really looking forward to miniature hoses. Keep those ideas coming!!!! I can totally see little tiny silver hose earrings and pendants...

LOL,
B.

We'll all be decked out in them if we ever have our convention or our cruise.

WOW! You guys are so talented!!!!

I'm far too overwhelmed with other projects to possibly DO ANYTHING with this idea. I give it to YOU. Anyone wants to take these designs and DO SOMETHING with them, you have my blessings.

I would definitely like some hosehead animated gifs for use in emails. And I know I'd wear hosehead jewelry. And a t-shirt is a definite wish.

But I'd much rather BUY this stuff than make it.

Some idigent hosehead with artistic talents should definitely put up a website and offer designs for sale.

GREAT JOB ALL OF YOU!!!!
Barbara

Socknitster, that last one is spot-on, but you are right, id did come out b/w. The knobs on top of the bed posts kill the hospital bed aura, excellent idea!

I know the idea is to keep it as clean and simple as possible, but, having lost the caduseus, maybe we should go back to the idea of one end of the box sloping, so it looks less like an electrical generator and more like a cpap?

So, maybe its time for a vote between the recumbent version and the face only version?

Also... if anyone DOES make 'lil hose-ribbons, I'd buy one if it were something like a tie tac or lapel pin.

It's sexist, I know, but I really doubt I could pull off a hosehead ribbon earring or pendant...

Just my 57 cents' worth.

Thanks Babette and Bookbear. Those were very nice comments. I'm still not satisfied so I'm still trying to thwart my software into letting me do what I want.

OOOO... Snoredog, close, but I think what you want is a MONEY PIT, rather than a bag of money... Don't want people to get the idea you can GET RICH off OSA...

LOL,
