The other website is http://www.puraira.com (pure-air-a). There are a few links burried on the pur-sleep site (I should make them easier to find!).
It's not a sleep product per se. It's called a catalyltic effusion lamp--a simple little flameless lamp that simultaneously purifies the air and emits a fragrance. It's been around in Europe for a long time but is new to the States. It's much better than a scented candle. Catalytic combustion occurs without a flame and at a low temperature; the aromatic is not burned as in a candle and there's no smoke or flame (except during the first 3 minutes, after which you blow it out).
The issue being that all of the lamp fuels on the market use artificial fragrances that in my opinion (and most other people) are extremely strong and unpleasant. Puraira has developed a line of all-natural aromatic fuels for these little fragrance lamps. My favorite one is Pur-Woods--though I really enjoy all of them!
My 16 year old daughter insisted on having a lamp in her room last night. So 45 minutes of Pur-Spicewood was more than enough to do the trick! There's also Pur-Red (cinnamon and orange), Pur-Cedar (real cedarwood), Pur-Mountain Meadows, Pur-Ification, and several others.

I'm very curious about these lamps. I have enjoyed putting the peace on the diffuser pad during the day and as I walk back to my bedroom to put away laundry or somthing I find it VERY pleasant. So, now I'm thinking I might invest in the lamp. Do any of the lamp scents contain lavender as a component? I will be exploring that website and maybe ordering a lamp soon.SleepGuy wrote:The other website is http://www.puraira.com (pure-air-a). HUH! I've seen these lamps for sale at my local Hallmark store, of all places, but passed them up, because I don't really like "scented candles" - they bother my asthma, and most of them smell like body odor to me anyway.
Nice learn something more about them!!!! Thanks for the link!

Hmmmmm.... this is from the description of the Amber scent on the puraira site:
"A powerfully mood-enhancing aroma that will transform your space into an elevated, quiet realm where thoughts are suspended and time stands still."
Sounds like what they must pipe into my office air vents. My thoughts are certainly suspended and time does seem to stand still!
