  That would be a waste of my time.

I'm out of here for now. I hope there are enough members to keep correcting you. You might offer bad advice to new members.

why do you keep wanting to play the victim? the topic is stone cold dead as indicated by the op starting a new thread. why is THIS post from VVV off topic and the posts from others weren't?
people say i'm self absorbed.

Why invite to send a PM ? , IIRC, that is what Pugsy suggested instead of continuing to derail a thread with a lot of personality bitc**ing. VVV seemed to have something specific on his mind (agenda/assumptions) but I can't read his mind, so I asked that he send a PM - because it still seems off-topic but I'm willing to listen.

Otherwise I completely agree (thread is stone cold dead) , nothing useful has been contributed to this thread since viewtopic/t184495/Sleep-study-inaccurat ... 5#p1413924. Mostly off-topic personal and personality attacks.

that's not what i asked you, i asked why HIS is off topic but others aren't.i didn't ask WHY a pm-that's your business. i just wanted clarification on what you consider on or off topic and why you tend to use that.

btw, wouldn't you be better served if you put dog slobber and jimbud on your foes list?

i know, i just shifted the playing field and all that, but was just wondering.

I certainly didn't mean to infer that VVV's was the only one off-topic . The topic raised by the OP (to best of my discernment) was related to not having air flow measured that was emanating from his mouth. Discussions that are unrelated, particularly those that suggest personal motivation or honesty, are clearly off-topic. VVV's post suggesting I had an agenda, or Dogslobber suggesting I was being dishonest are examples in the extreme. Pugsy keeps telling us to please, please stick to the topic or at least near to the topic, or she will lock the thread, good advice.

Foes list?? Dogslobber and jimbud may have useful contributions to a discussion, personally I don't like the idea of cancelling my view of their input.
I hope to have no animus towards anyone on this board. placing someone on a foes list (or cancelling my view of their contribution) seems disrespectful, but of course that's my opinion.

Thanks for asking.

And yet, the provider has already accepted responsibility for a "fault", even without comparative data.

Very easy to make an accusation without any specificity.

Now can we get off the "Dataq1-bashing soap box"
Almost.

We still need to cover your tirade about RIP belts, of which ApneaLink Air doesn't even use.

But in all "honesty", I don't understand how you can be here for 17 years yet your KB is so poor.

Tirade ???
The only thing I can see that might be the least bit controversial is the clarification on what these belts measure.
But I agree that ApneaLink Air likely doesn’t use that level of technology (Inductance).
IIRC, I kept saying that “belts” was prepherial to the OP’s concern of unmeasured air flows.
Do you disagree that RIP belts or similar low tech belts measure displacement that is inferred to be volume of air?
If so then there is something to discuss, but perhaps more appropriately in a different thread.

I just don’t see a tirade, or need to “cover” this in this thread.

I'll "discuss" when you throw something out there that is actually pertinent to discussion and not an attempt to prove (to yourself, mostly) that your cognitive skills are not deteriorating.

Can you stop acting like a petulant child? You indicated that more discussion was needed on the RIP belts, now you don't. Instead you invoke your degree in Psychology evaluate.
