I have tried probably (6) different masks including the new BleepSleep system. I have prefered the nasal pillow style the best but any of the versions that go into the nostril always make the nose sore. The ones that just snug up the nose tend to always leak. The Wisp has performed the best but not perfect. It always tends to make the beginning of a sore on the bridge of the nose.Sheriff Buford wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 3:35 amgolfgame wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 8:12 pm1. What is an acceptable leak rate? I am using a ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto.Pugsy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 4:07 pmWhich machine are you using and where are you getting those reported leak numbers from?
If from the software...which value is it?
62 L/min from a Respironics machine...ugly but not the end of the world.
62 L/min from a ResMed machine...pretty much close to the end of the world.![]()
Where is the Bleep separating at?
Do you take any medications that might be making dry mouth worse?
Please post a typical recent night report from OSCAR...

That looks like last night and it would have been the WISP maskPugsy wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 6:53 pmWhat mask were you using on the above night?
That's a really, really bad leak report and it takes a lot for me to call it bad.
The UAs you see flagged...the machine sensed something happened but didn't know what to call it and the leak is so bad at times that it is possible the machine couldn't even sense properly.

Probably because the leak was so high in the first place that the machine wasn't even flagging them so it appears that the events increase as the leak goes down but in reality the events were happening but the machine was clueless in the face of the higher leak.

I was unclear as to just what was happening with the Bleep....was it adhesive failure or what?

The Bleep failure is that when I install the ports they are completely void of air leaks but at some point, during the night I wake and there is then air leaking from or around the ports. Sometimes I actually thought that the attachable part was leaking where it attaches to the port. Other times there is air seeping out from under the adhesive portion.Pugsy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 9:15 amI was unclear as to just what was happening with the Bleep....was it adhesive failure or what?
Was the bad leak report above from a Bleep night???? If not the Bleep...which mask?
Have you taped your mouth shut to totally rule out mouth leaking? That would be the first thing I did...because to fix a problem you first have to identify the problem.
You need to be way more specific when giving us information so we can best offer ideas.
