Have a quick recovery and keep us posted if possible. And don't think twice about that PICC line. No sweat, no risk. I've even gone through the TSA with a PICC line and a bag full of hypodermics with saline and heparin, and shiny balls that looked like Christmas tree ornaments that dispensed antibiotics.

They had to take out the hose that was supposed to break up the clot. I was bleeding everywhere including my jugular vein where they put in the filter. They said the clot extended from my knee to my belly button but wasn't solid but more like a sponge. They gave me 12 units of something last night either the plasma or platelets. I forgot. It looked like pale jello. My blood pressure has gone back to it'd normal low now.

I'm sorry to hear that things are not going as smoothly as they had hoped. I hope things get sorted out for the best real soon, and best wishes for a quick recovery.

Get well Stormy I have been thinking about you. I had a DVT in 1997 and still have problems with swelling today.

I am not doing very well. I hate it here and it really hurts to breathe. It was just my right lung but now my left lungs hurts too.

Stormy, I'm so sorry to read of your medical issues. You seem very discouraged and I'm sorry to see that, too.

As much as you hate being there, I'm sure they're taking very good care of you.
