Question For Liam1965
So far,I am the oldest?
I love waking up in the morning, and looking at all of the posts on all of the subjects.
Wish you guys could get a good night's rest.I worry about all of you.
Well,I am 60. But I think I saw a post a while ago from someone in their seventies.
Diagnosed with OSA in September.I was upset when I found out,but I feel so much better that I have adjusted to the cpap, hoses, mask, everything. And I am so glad that I found this forum.I really felt all alone with dealing with this problem.
I don't have nearly all of the problems that some of you have.I'm not bragging, just trying to sympathize.
Here's wishing all of you a good night's sleep.
Marie in Louisiana, trying to dry out from all of the rain.

Well, for those who are following my story, last night I FINALLY SLEPT WITH THE CPAP ON! YAY!Marie wrote:Wish you guys could get a good night's rest.I worry about all of you.
(Not well, mind you, but for most of the night. Finally took it off around 5:30am, posted a little, and then dozed until about 7).
Still not the most comfortable night's sleep I've ever had, but I'm heartened by the fact that I've actually managed to get to sleep with it on!
(For reference, it was the FF Mirage Ultra that I had on.)
Where in LA? My wife is from LA. Moved up from near Baton Rouge last year.Marie wrote:Marie in Louisiana, trying to dry out from all of the rain.
Liam, who looks even more pasty white next to his cajun cutie.

LIAM
I am soooooooo very happy you slept. I have conversations with my husband re: who's quitting, who's new, and so forth on the msg. board.I feel as if we all know ea. other. Keep sleeping.....
Last night I did one of your famous!! I took off mask, DO NOT REMEMBER, and actually slept on it. It's a miracle it's not smashed or squished, hah..
Glad you hung in on the board, we'd miss you.
Sign me: hose head, who will take on the software today even if it kills me.

Liam, great news. Maybe your brain is starting to block out the strange noises. I slept much better than usual last night myself. Didn't wake up and couldn't get back to sleep once, even though I was up with the "While we're up..." syndrome about 12. Woke up again at my usual 2:30 but went right back to sleep without getting up. Was awake for good about 4:30, which is only an hour earlier than I usually get up.
I think getting a good night's sleep on Valentine's day is especially meanful, since you are expecting a new baby, obviously the sign of your great love for your wife and hers for you, and one of the symbols of Valentine's Day is a heart. You have done your heart a lot of good using the CPAP all night long, too.
Keep on "Truckin'"

Yeah. My poor wife, though. She hasn't been able to sleep since Saturday. (She has insomnia, as far as we know not apnea related, although when I'm awake I sometimes monitor her snoring to see if it has breaks in it. It doesn't seem to.)Janelle wrote:I think getting a good night's sleep on Valentine's day is especially meanful, since you are expecting a new baby, obviously the sign of your great love for your wife and hers for you, and one of the symbols of Valentine's Day is a heart. I'm glad you slept better as well. Perhaps out class of hosehead newbies is about to graduate and make room for a NEW batch of folks to come in and whine incessantly.
I'll be sad to give it up, I'm so darn GOOD at whining.
Liam, who isn't kidding, you should ask his wife.

I was wondering what was going on with this post and now I find out it was the whole gay issue. I made a comment one time on a Weight Watchers forum and Wow, talk about an ongoing bashing from both sides...it was ridiculous. So I not going there, but am glad to hear Liam slept. Hooray.
Snorenomore, who is not gay but is happy Liam got a good nights rest.

So Happy For You!!!
Liam,
I am so happy for you that you finally got a little rest! Don't even think about leaving, maybe you will become an expert like Muck.
I wonder how long some fo these guys hang around?
Anyway, I'm going on and on...................about nothing, as usual!!

Nah, that's not my place in the world. Muck's place (along with -SWS and rested gal) is to be the expert with important things to say and information everyone trusts.hhunt wrote:I am so happy for you that you finally got a little rest! Mine is to be the class clown, the guy everyone looks to when they need a laugh, but let's face it, who can take serious advice from the guy walking around with his underwear on his head, slapping people with a rubber chicken?
Liam, who is not wearing his underwear on his head at work. Never again.

Quit with all this "expert" talk. As my signature says I'm just wading thru the muck like everybody else. I just hope to pass along what I can to help those benind me avoid some of it and hope I can catch a little break from the muck that those ahead of me have gone through.
Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate them more than you will know.

They sent you another fake memo from the boss huh? Hate it when that happens...Liam1965 wrote:Nah, that's not my place in the world.
