Well, I remember the time when ....

I can SO understand the "one of the dinosaurs". I got into the field early (mid 70s) and was there to see the computer business flourish and transform in ways that I could hardly imagine.

Question,

By any chances could you put Deb Fischer, over there, in your toaster, for a few minutes?

I like doing animation and graphic design in my spare time. I used to do these for work. I was an animator at Pixar for "Finding Nemo" and "WALLE," but now I'm in the support realm. Other things I like doing is working on cars--going to meets, shows, etc. I have a '93 Nissan 300ZX and a '67 Datsun RL411. Up until last year I was marching all ages drum and bugle corps. Here is a little slice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iE4Y-DcW8s

Enjoy!
That's awesome! I have a daughter (sort of adopted, long story) who went to Tufts and got an art degree to enter in to the world of video games artistry. She did very well in school but is finding it difficult to get "that first job".

Love the car choices!

I've been tinkering with a bit of 3D Modelling in Blender.. Would love to learn to animate and stuff,
but my all time ultimate fantasy (if I ever had the energy) is computer game development.

I uploaded a couple more of my renders on Flickr.. I spared you the scary CPAP monkey sheep thing that's on my Google+ page.

I'm also learning to sketch, something I always told myself was impossible considering my (horrendously) horrible handwriting...
I'll have to scan a pic one day once I do one that's actually good and not R rated..

I play (electric) guitar and piano.. I muck around with recording on the computer occasionally.
A few of my er, um.. not very good "works"... http://soundcloud.com/jedimark64

I occasionally am known to go to the place known as outside, where it's hot.. I go fishing from my Kayak, and occasionally an odd bit of archery.

Then I retreat inside an play C.O.D. with the Mrs and a bunch of mates over XBOX Live.. Pretty much the only social life I get lately..

Then there is SleepyHead, which is probably the least sucky of all my hobbies... well it's the most fulfilling anyway.

To those of you that think you don't have a "hobbie" bone in your body..... think again! It does NOT have to be PERFECT, find what interest you and go for it, whatever you choose to do will get better with time and patience. I quilt and I do not quilt with a machine, mine are all done by hand ..... that is when my best buddy "Arthur Itis" isn't around. I used to knit and crochet but Arthur Itis made me stop
Cheers
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I basically like to read....Alot! Mainly the classics, e.g, Jane Austin, Bronte, etc., and also Catholic theology, biblical archaeology and archaeology in general, nonfiction, history--my BF is a military historian so I'm always hearing about that. I also love birding, hiking, biking, camping and the beach and classic movies, and I also like to cross stitch.

Everyone that has posted has immense talent! I especially love the quilts Catnapper! My only claim to fame is being a
recovering ChihuahuaHolic. For the last 15 years was I a Chihuahua collector. Then one day I adopted a Yorkie and it broke the spell! I now have 7 dogs and 5 cats and I believe I am just in the maintenance business now. I love animals of all kinds and dogs and cats of all breeds but I think my collecting days are over. Here are a few great pics of some of our gang.

The problems with male and female dogs is that when they reach an age of above 12 then they most likely come down with anal glands cancers. So you need to be ready with about $15,000 to take proper care of it if the cancer has metastasized. If you keep a hoard of them then you should be ready with a $100 grand just for these procedures.

My hobby is getting out on Scarlet & riding with friends (215 miles today) .covered 2800 miles in 6 days the last of June traveling this great country. working out a little once or twice a week to keep muscle tone- not easy with RA. but after spending 17 days in a hospital bed last year, close to dying twice, i feel blessed to draw breath *
