As mentioned before, the nurse who died was the first nurse on the phone. She said very little and simply put the call through to the second nurse who gave all the information. The second nurse did not harm herself. There must have been a lot more going on in the the first nurse's life for her to do something so tragic and leave behind two kids.

It was a silly, amusing joke. Prince Charles found it amusing. Possibly the Queen, herself, might have found it amusing. No-one could foretell the outcome, if indeed it was the prank that pushed the nurse over the edge.

Impersonating the Queen of England is a hilarious gag. No more, no less.

In my younger days I would have tried it.

You two have it right. I threw many cases out unceremoniously and this would have been one of them.

With all due respect, Judge, in 45 years in practice, I witnessed many dumb, wrong-headed decisions by judges. When you were in private practice, you probably did too.

Hmm, what if someone had impersonated an official to obtain your daughter's confidential health information such as an abortion? Would you still think it was a harmless prank and want another judge to dismiss it?

My daughter actually has had three abortions (spontaneous).

Although I did not write or post the question (now displayed in red) to the Judge, I think it is quite clear that it was a hypothetical question designed to support an argument. Nobody was accusing the Judge or his daughter of anything. Nobody asked him to provide any personal information about his daughter.

No one "made-up" any stories about the Judge's daughter. That is a ridiculous accusation. Even the suggestion as to whether or not he had a daughter was a hypothesis. And no one asked the Judge to volunteer any personal information of any kind. Maybe he thought it was humorous to respond with personal information, but his "answer" was clearly not a response to the question, and as a judge I'm sure he knows that.

As the one wrote that hypothetical response to Judge Nap as part of my argument in which I did not demand a reply (thank you Nate for setting the record straight), this response makes absolutely no sense.

By the way, I was thinking how wonderful it had been that there hadn't been any political threads. That will teach me not to have those thoughts.
