The second nurse did not harm herself. There must have been a lot more going on in the the first nurse's life for her to do something so tragic and leave behind two kids.

It was a silly, amusing joke. Prince Charles found it amusing. Possibly the Queen, herself, might have found it amusing. No-one could foretell the outcome, if indeed it was the prank that pushed the nurse over the edge.

In my younger days I would have tried it.
You two have it right. I threw many cases out unceremoniously and this would have been one of them.
With all due respect, Judge, in 45 years in practice, I witnessed many dumb, wrong-headed decisions by judges. When you were in private practice, you probably did too.

Hmm, what if someone had impersonated an official to obtain your daughter's confidential health information such as an abortion? Would you still think it was a harmless prank and want another judge to dismiss it?

49er and Madalot
You can sit around creating imaginative situations with your alloted time on earth if you want to. It doesn't bolster your argument.

My daughter actually has had three abortions (spontaneous).

I could say I feel suicidal because the two of you belittled me about my daughter's abortions on an international forum with 64,587 registered members.
Your answer, Judge is not responsive to the question. Could you please answer the question asked?

Regards, Nate

Or...you could just stop reading it.

Obviously, there are those who are interested. It doesn't violate the User Agreement, and no one is forcing anyone to click on it.
Good points LinkC!

I think nothing in the thread violates the User Agreement except Taringa's language!
Oh, I did not see the parts about making up "what-if" stories about a member's daughter having abortions and then harassing him to reply. That I think constitutes a violation of even a liberal interpretation of the User Agreement.

Time to knock this stuff off!

Although I did not write or post the question (now displayed in red) to the Judge, I think it is quite clear that it was a hypothetical question designed to support an argument. Nobody was accusing the Judge or his daughter of anything. Nobody asked him to provide any personal information about his daughter.

No one "made-up" any stories about the Judge's daughter. That is a ridiculous accusation. Even the suggestion as to whether or not he had a daughter was a hypothesis. And no one asked the Judge to volunteer any personal information of any kind. Maybe he thought it was humorous to respond with personal information, but his "answer" was clearly not a response to the question, and as a judge I'm sure he knows that.

Cowfish,

As the one wrote that hypothetical response to Judge Nap as part of my argument in which I did not demand a reply (thank you Nate for setting the record straight), this response makes absolutely no sense.

By the way, I was thinking how wonderful it had been that there hadn't been any political threads. That will teach me not to have those thoughts.

Set what record straight?

Six weeks after Judge Nat made the comment and left the forum, it is still being demanded that he reply.

Like I said, time to knock it off talking about hypothetical killing of babies. A disgusting question for this forum.

Judge Nap (not "Nat" - I'm Nat{e}) has not left the forum. Do you just make things up?

Here is one of his recent posts about a monkey, a lizard and a crocodile:

Too bad you lack the Judge's great sense of humor!
