I managed to crash 0.8.2. I forgot to put my SD card back in the s9 before going to sleep. I figured I'd let the machine copy the summary files to it and put those into SleepyHead so that I could at least see that I went to sleep. Trying to import the files caused SH to to crash, though. I suppose the ambiguity of summary data that appears to summarize nothing was just too much for the young program. Later tonight I'll try adding a short hose session to the card and see what happens.

Does SH even read STR.edf? I was thinking I could see what data I had for yesterday in the overview/summary tab, but of course there isn't one right now.

With a one minute hose session on the card, SH didn't choke on the import. Not sure if that would have been different if I had managed to add the session before midnight. The crashed import doesn't seem to have changed anything in SleepApp.

Skew

Post by Otter » Sat Aug 13, 2011 2:43 am

A while back there was a rumor you'd solved the skew problem, but that was just a rumor? I dug up an old data set with skew, and it displays skewed in SH too. I'm not terribly surprised. It seemed too good to be true that the s9 was keeping a double set of books, and all that was needed was to use the real one.

If this is a surprise, though, I'd be glad to send you the data.

Someone else try this please.

I tried to use Windows magnifier to zoom in on the SleepyHead 0.8.2 display. The graph area does not show up in the windows magnifier. The left hand panel does show up, but not the graphs.

Do other people have a calendar that's seven days wide? Mine is only five days wide, and I wonder if that's because I increased the font size in Windows. I can use the arrow keys to get to the hidden days, but if there was less white space, I could see them all at once.

7 days wide.

Seems to work for me. I got sea sick doing it. All parts of my viewing screen did show up magnified. At 200 % I had to move the cursor to see items off screen. The graphs got huge too.

You can widen the left side by dragging the vertical divider between the left side and the graphs.

I get the drag border cursor if I left click and hold on that divider, but it won't budge. I thought that was on the todo list, but if it works for you, I guess not. What OS do you run, Jim?

I can't see the text and numbers on the graphs. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. Any ideas?

F&P machines

Post by archangle » Sun Aug 14, 2011 10:58 pm

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but someone said that the data card from newer F&P machines does show up as a drive when you stick it into a USB slot.

New world record

Post by archangle » Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:20 pm

I think I just set a new world record.

My report shows a max leak rate of 36,000 for Saturday. No wonder we've been having a high pressure system around here. Someone call Guinness.

Mark said that sometimes happens when there are short sessions, maybe for some other reasons. Do you have any short sessions on the days there the numbers don't show? If they all don't show, is there anything you think might be atypical about your data sets? Do the numbers show up if you zoom in to take a closer look at an hour or a few minutes?
