Arizona, thanks for the heads up. I had slowly been talking myself out of fixing anything that ain't broke anyway, and your opinion concerning my problem clinched it for me. "My owner" probably would have fired me and hired a blonde if I had tried something new on him.

hey I just saw the official video on YouTube (they won't let me post links here). Search for Respironics FullLife (no spaces). Looks like a Quattro killer! lol

Yup, as mentioned on the previous post... it's on YouTube!

The official instructional DVD for the new FullLife mask. Posted by Bob Pflueger, US Marketing Manager, at Respironics. Bob goes on to say "contact your favorite official reseller..."

Oh we have Bob... we already have. Now I can show the DME this video and educate them a bit.

Here's the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfF95MqHR4E

The straps still look like the only negative to me. I also worry about the skin bulges they show if the mask is too tight. I kind of have a fat monkey face.

But I am going for it anyway!

P.S. - Respironics needs to head back to post production. Because the audio levels are all over the place! Hang on to your volume control!

It's now on the Philips Respironics web site!

http://fulllife.respironics.com/

Finally I can email this link to the DME to prove it's a real product available now! Except from them.

Funny, it doesn't show up in the USA Product/Mask link.
I had to hunt to find it here:

http://masks.respironics.com/

But on the regular "Mask Family" page it's not there. Thanks for making it so easy to find PR... not!

My obsession with this mask continues...

You're not the only one! I never realized how much my quattro bugged me by riding up until Willie posted his review and since then I just keep seeing more and more that I like about this mask.

Just talked to my DME and they finally got them from their rep yesterday. I'll be picking a FitPack up at their office on Friday.

Congratulations! Any chance your DME is Apria?

Anyway, the more people asking for this mask will hopefully fuel the demand... and hopefully more brick and mortar DME's will carry it.

Please let us know your impressions of this mask and how it ultimately works out for you.

I just want to let you all know as I noticed there is a lot of speculation about this new mask.

I spoke to my respironics rep today and I was told that the mask is due for its final public release tomorrow. We are very excited to get some in and hopefully people like them.

Nope, no evil A for me. I think mine is a pretty small local company; they don't even have a storefront just an office.

I definitely hope the more demand they hear the quicker it will be more widely available and that was part of the reason I kept on my DME for it.

Sorry - but you are wrong. This mask was released LAST MONTH (on July 20th)! On-line suppliers have it and other DME's have it now.

There is another mask called the FitLife that was released on July 31st.

This mask IS the FullLife and it's already out!

I was initially intrigued, but now I'm not so sure. Seems like a lot of messing with straps. Also, with the extra chins I have (I know, pretty picture, huh!), chin things attached to masks make my masks leak more. I have to cut off the chin cup thingy on my Hybrid or it leaks like crazy whenever I tilt my head down even a little bit. (I've figured out that the extra stuff under my chin pushes on the chin cup when I tilt my head downward, pushing the chin cup forward and thus pushing the bottom of the mask outward.) I'll be watching what others say about it, though, definitely.

I got my GP doc to write me an Rx for this mask (Fit pack with all sizes included) and fax it over to Apria. (Oh boy)

The Apria rep called me today and said since I got a new nasal mask a few months ago that my insurance wouldn't pay for this one.

I asked her when she had talked to my insurance... to which she replied she hadn't... she just "knew."

I asked her to please verify before denying me healthcare. (Obamacare, here we come).

She called back later to say that Aetna would approve it, but Apria doesn't have the mask in their system. Call back in a month or two.

Aaaargh.

I'd buy it at CPAP.com, but my insurance pays 85% and don't want to spend the extra $$. I guess I'll try next month.

I'm confused.

You're complaining (rightfully) about a problem with your current healthcare, but somehow projecting it onto heathcare reform.
