1. http:// mysleepmask.com is not an authorized provider and has used other website names (more to follow).
2. my ResMed S8 with H3i is not working probably. The H3i does not heat up on the warming setting and does not heat up very high on the regular humidifier setting.
3. I am in contact with ResMed re my problem
4. ResMed Preferred Internet Provider program
I've just talked to Tina at ResMed customer service. She knew who I was and told me that the provider mysleepmask.com does not "appear on her list" of ResMed Preferred Internet Providers (which confirms they do have RPIP). I asked her how was I to know that mysleepmask.com was not a Resmed Internet Provider and she said I should have called. Together we went through ResMed's 5 internet pages devoted to the Preferred Internet Provider program and nowhere did it say 'call us for list'. I bet they change that today!
Even after I registered with "myresmed.com" (which is for resmed owners) I did not find anything at all about internet providers only this one statement:
.call ResMed for a list of dealers in your area that offer ResMed products.
How do they expect regular people to find a preferred provider when online companies are fraudulently using their logos. And how will authorized providers react when they are losing business to fraud. No one wins!!
Tina suggested that I call mysleepmask.com to get a refund, but as I pointed out to her if they are not an authorized provider and had or have websites under other names I doubt they will give me a refund. Tina then offered to call mysleepmask.com and get me a refund.
I expect ResMed to do the right thing - correct their authorized provider problem and exchange my defective machine for a new one from ResMed.
