The biggest thing is several brands. Do you really want to log in to every manufacturer and check prices, availability, etc.Guest wrote:All of this is such a joke. I can't wait until the manufacturers just start selling directly to end-users. What possible "service" can these internet stores give that the manufacturer can't?
Not me. I ordered from CPAP.com and saved about 70% over the brick and mortar store I used before. I am a good example. I own a machine made by one company, a humidifier from another and a mask by a third (do not ask how that happened -- most of it had to do with my near death stay at the hospital and the RT swapping equipment).
And look at CPAP.com -- they allow honest customer comments. Do you think a manufacturer will?
As for the logo, BBB, Verisign and others (look at the Go Daddy certification at the bottom of this page) have figured a way to put their logo on certified sites. Click on the logo and it takes you to the authorizing site (encrypted) and authenticates the logo.
Easy enough to do with just a tad of programming. IF ResMed is going to have a logo program, they need to do it right or not at all.
My mask is a ResMed and I am quite happy with it compared to two others I tried before.
