I find my AHI between 2.4 and 3.1. Still looking for that sweet spot after 18 months on CPAP.

Only been on Cpap since 1/2/08, using APAP Machine with straight CPAP/Cflex since Jan 24
0.3 average AHI
worst night was 0.7
Feb first, there's missing data... so that shouldn't count.

Have you sought help here to try and lower your numbers?
I'm busy improving my numbers all the time (with advice and knowledge from the forum) but nothing dramatic has happened yet. It is improving slowly, and I'm narrowing things down, so I'm not too stressed about it. I spent two and a half months trying different APAP settings, and a week ago tried CPAP, which looks like it's the right thing for me. I breathe very slowly, and I think that is screwing with my ResMed's mind, which means that CPAP is the way to go. I suspect that (very) slow breathing also affects the HI readings.
At the end of the day I am better than without CPAP (not great but better) and as long as there is improvement, I'm not losing too much sleep over the pace of change.
My average AHI while I was on APAP was 27.5. Since switching to CPAP it's 18.8. My AI has gone down from 1.8 average to 1.1. This weekend I will start increase the pressure slightly, and next time someone from our US subsidiary comes out he will hopefully have a card reader in his bag...
Thanks for the concern,
Colin

My average AHI is about 11 or 12. at night. and 2.1 in the day. I'm not sure if the numbers so important anyway (or maybe my machines reporting it wrongly) , because even with that I feel 100 times better than I did.
At my sleep test I had 100 odd OA's and almost 0 Hypopnea's. With my autopap machine I have 1 to 2 OA's a night and 60+ Hypopnea's. So now I don't actually cease breathing just slow down a lot.
I started my self titration in January and have gone from 4cm/H2O to 8cm/H20 as a bottom pressure. My stats haven't changed much over that time and all I am doing is upping the bottom pressure by 1cm/H2O every week or so. I have the top pressure set on 15cm/H2O (it usually wakes me at about 12 anyway). My nightly average pressure seems to stay at about 1cm above my bottom setting. So I am just chasing slowly. I am trying to get my bottom pressure to cover about 80 to 90% of my apneas and then let the auto bit rise as much as it wants to cover the rest.
I have found my best sleep times are a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. then I get ahi's at about 2.1. At night I always get an obstructive apnea exactly 2 hours after I fall asleep. Usually the machine has pumped up the pressure to 12 or even 15, but its just too late to stop it. And its always bad enough to wake me.

B (3.3) however, this is only based on 6 days. My therapy started on 7 Feb so I'm still making the big adjustment. But, I am gettting some decent sleep though. Not fully rejuvenated by any stretch of the imagination, but I do at least feel alive!

4 to 5 after 6 months on CPAP. Prescribed pressure was 10 cm and I am up to 11. Any higher and my numbers increased (centrals). I am using a cflex of 3. Originally, I used my sleep lab respironics lab single use mask. I just got a comfort gel and my numbers seem to be improving slightly.
