Humor - Wanted: Int'l Symbol for Sleep Apnea
Nope, nope. My Resmeds don't care for your M Series blue lights, Rooster. Not at all. I really like DrummerGirl's and I happen to LIKE cats, Rooster! Hey, WindFlyer's got a pretty neat idea there too.
HOSEHEADS UNITE! Lets see some more ideas in this thread. We've got some real talent here!!
How about midnight blue for the T-shirt, a dark color so it won't show dirt and soil easily and to signify nighttime?

Your friends tell me that you quite often wear that on your shirts. Behave yourself and visit the laundry more often.OwlCreekObserver wrote: Rooster, I have to say that it sorta reminds me of this, and I'm just not sure that I'd be entirely comfortable wearing it on a tee shirt.

I have a vision that we will figure out an easy way to ensure that children develop wide, deep, healthy and attractive jaws and then obstructive sleep apnea becomes an obscure bit of history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ycw4uaX ... re=related

Thought I'd throw my versions in the mix.
I did one version "strapless" and the other version "fully strapped"
and with a little luck I might actually manage to get it so you can see them (I'm fighting with the image tags and tripod.com) I tried to put the images in directly but it kept giving me a default tripod.com graphic. So.... I'm stuck with just giving the link to my album.

Thanks for the the positive comments, everyone! I like everyone else's too (at least those who were being serious about it... did get a laugh out of the rest of them though ...)Sorry Rooster, but I don't see the resemblance. Tasmaina yours were especially cool! Let's see some more, folks!

Tasmania's are my choice for now.
When I first saw drummergirl's my initial thought was -- "soften it up" -- too many sharp edges -- but it still doesn't look like a cat!!!! where are the ears??
Though I like the one with straps, it's a bit too busy -- so I'd have to give a thumbs up to the no straps......
Very cool idea Babs!!!!!
cheers

Wars arise from a failure to understand one another's humanness. Instead of summit meetings, why not have families meet for a picnic and get to know each other while the children play together?

JJPosey, the plunger one made me laugh! On the other paw, it might be interpreted as sucking face, which leads to.... well, let's not go there.
Taz, from a graphic design standpoint, the strapless one is better... cleaner, simpler. This is supposed to be a indicator that is recognizable at a glance, world-wide.
Drummergirl, could you curve the hose? and put it in a frame with curved corners like Taz's?
Since this is supposed to be international, we should probably lose the 'zzzz's, since not everyone uses the same alphabet (or even an alphabet!) The closed eyes get that part of the idea across.
Now, it sort of looks like maybe a fighter pilot asleep... could the curved hose be attached to a rectangular box, perhaps with a sloping top, and a medical caduceus symbol on it? Can't use cpap, for the same reason as the zzzz's
Just some thoughts....

Getting old doesn't make you 'forgetful'. Having too damn many things to remember makes you 'forgetful'.
Can we have our own ribbon, too?

Bonnie,
Granted ribbons have been overdone, but your elegant arrangement made me laugh out loud. I had a vision of pinning a 6 foot hose to my blouse. Made me glad I don't have a 10 foot hose -- I would be tripping over it. Then I had a vision of the miniturized version. Only another hosehead would have a clue what it is. It does have great possibilities for starting conversations about sleep apnea. Thanks for the laugh.
