Sexuality Pool
Call me a prude, but I don't think sexuality has a role in our sleep apnea health. No more than it does if we had heart disease.
Needless to say, I didn't vote and hope this thread has a quick demise.

Honestly, and quite frankly, I might add, Eric, that information is absolutely none of your business! While there are certainly issues of sex involved with sleep apnea, they don't have anything to do with your poll. I might add I'm not the least bit prudish, but I'm personally offended you'd make such a post.

This is normal... I have a special sens of humor!!
But please... Don't insulate me for that ok!
If you have no sens of humor you can leave this Pool alone!
Case close!
I have one terrific sense of humor, as do most posters here. However, your litttle "pool" has no place on this board. It is not appropriate, and a total waste of everyone's time.
Wake me up when this is over...

Boy, now I'm curious. I missed the original thread, but with 5 children, I've been known to take a dip in the sexuality pool once in a while, so I'm curious.
Seriously, I probably shouldn't comment because it sounds like it was inappropriate, but I wanted to comment on the comment that "sexuality has nothing to do with our apnea".
Lack of sleep causes a number of symptoms, and I've heard some people say that once theirs was treated, various sex related symptoms lessened or went away completely (from interest all the way up to... equipment failure).
So I actually do think there is some benefit to discussing such things. If for no other reason than to be one more motivator for a guy to work harder to be compliant.
My two cents, probably completely invalid for the topic at hand.
Liam, a complete invalid for the topic at hand.

I just wrote a letter to a bunch of people ...
....regarding sleep apnea, as that Today show segment was a good way for me to get it out where it might do some good.
I've noticed there is a huge reluctance, by some, to even get a dx because people are afraid that their spouses and SOs would not want to be in bed with TOBOR the robot. Of course, I told them that the ones who love them will relax a lot more if they don't hear a gasping for air, they won't hear snoring and the machine acts as a white noise machine and might even help them get to sleep. Besides all the severe health issues, being awake, having more energy, having better blood flow will improve sexuality, as most of you already know. Isn't that important to tell people and aren't you curious if that in fact is all true? Aren't you curious about the quantification of that as it really points to better health?
I never saw Eric's poll and I am afraid that this posting is very similar to the one that came before it, by Liam, but those issues are worth exploring. However, I don't know if any of you should get that personal on here, as everything you say here, every posting is archived by Google and other search engines and they will exist forever. Eric, you might have been saved by getting it off before the Lemmings at Google caught it.

Eric. Thank you for deleting the Poll/post. Now that shows class instead of just your ***.
Liam - back to your pool. ..............
And a good point about Google archives, Allend.

I have no idea what the poll was, nor do I care. People on this board are generally nice people, so I assume I don't want to know. I've corrected your post above (changes in bold). Please do your best to take your time and post correct english as it helps us all understand your sense of humor better. *end PSA*EricF wrote:Ok!!
