we have an opportunity to move from the southwest back to the pacific northwest and we are seizing the day to do just that. we are pretty happy with the prospect of being back where we have spent 35 years. and my wife was there even longer than that.

And best of all, you'll get to start all over optimizing your therapy in a new environment. That's going to be fun for all of us!

fortunately, the real estate part is out of my hands. our buyers want another look as they feel the inspector didn't give them that opportunity. whatever.

our house is only 3 years old. it's the main house that is older. still i don't think there will be any worries. daughter and son-in-law have done a ton of work on the place so it should be good.

one day at the dog park, we got to talking to a woman who i would guess was in her forties. she didn't ask for the origin of his name. we chatted a few minutes, then parted. we got 20 feet away when she shouted "OH MY GOD! STEWBALL WAS A RACEHORSE! WHEN I WAS A KID MY MOM PLAYED THAT SONG TO DEATH IN THE CAR!!"

so we definitely made her day.

to all-it's a peter, paul and dead mary song. my wife was an ardent fan and so the name came to her for her handsome boy.

I miss the good, south Louisiana Cajun food. I learned a lot about what good food is while living in Louisiana. They were not only good cooks, they were great people once you got to know them.

Yes. We may seem a little "off" to most people, but we're very good, down to Earth people. We mostly like just spending time in the marshes and swamps, you know, fighting alligators and dodging snakes.

Happy that you are happy with the move. I have moved away from southern Missouri twice in my life and both times I was miserable where I was and came back after just a few years.

Right now the only place I might move to is a small island in the Caribbean or Tahiti or some place like that.
Of my 67 years on earth I have been in this area 57 of them. Old habits die hard.
