The fact that they *TRIED* to label coffee with prop65 was the news, the fact that sanity prevailed... well, maybe news.

Only partially. According to that article, they are still targeting the small coffee manufacturers.

I just hope they don't somehow damage the sun when they try to get a warning label stuck to the surface of it. Because, DUDE, that would be, like, totally gnarly.

I had a good chuckle last night.
I bought a WORX tool...weed eater to be exact (to go along with all my others) and I saw that California label on the WORX. I think pretty much everything gets that label and just gets posted to CYA.
Everything in California "might" cause something.

It seems CA is falling down on the warnings they offer. 1 in 8 people die in their sleep so it would seem that CA would have a warning that sleep can cause death... :)

Due to the overabundance of warnings, it is likely that Californians suffer
from elevated levels of paranoia.
This makes me happy.

California had six quakes over 3.5 yesterday. We watched CBS news, CNN and Fox - not a single mention. Is there some Media Overlord that has decided it's no longer a story? Trump/AOC Squak seems to dominate the news.

Earthquakes are to be expected where geologic conditions promote it.
Sometimes those places also have the most attractive climate.
God's little joke . . .

I read a science article a few weeks ago that claimed without earthquakes the earth would not be populated. Any planet that has tectonic plates will have earthquakes. Without tectonic plates, a planet will be solid rock - uninhabitable.

Where have you been? Everything causes cancer in California.
California itself causes cancer.
